This was our first time at Hotel Ocean, and would definitely stay here again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a seafront room which were lovely. Very clean and a good size. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was amazing with a good choice of continental and cooked options, and it was all served at the table, which made a nice change. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to stay in Great Yarmouth

Short stay as we needed to stay in the area for a family event. The staff were amazing as soon as we arrived. We had lunch which consisted of some amazing sandwiches. The breakfast offer was really good quality and arrived to order. We needed two rooms which were very clean and well proportioned.

This was our second stay at this seafront hotel and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. We brought my in-laws along for a night away and see the Christmas Spectacular Show at the Hippodrome. To make their stay special, they had the Seaview suite where they could sit with a cup of tea and watch the sea and Christmas lights come on. We had a double room at the back which was very comfortable however a few things could do with attention but certainly didn't stop us sleeping well! After enjoying the show, we returned to enjoy a night cap in the beautiful hotel lounge. The team here are so accommodating that when my husband fancied a snack with his drink, one of them popped out to buy him a packet of crisps! What amazing customer service! The young lady at breakfast was cheerful and very efficient even though she had several walk ins and residents to serve. The poached eggs I ordered were exceptional as was the fruit salad. We only live an hour away but love to spend a day by the sea so it will not be long before we return again. Thank you all at the Ocean for making our pre-Christmas treat such a special one.

We stopped off here for food as it looked appealing from the outside. The decor was very sophisticated and luxurious which made the experience much more comfortable, the food was outstanding and the service was beyond friendly and homely going above and beyond ensuring nothing was too much as long as we were happy. We have found our new favourite place to eat when we visit Great Yarmouth

Excellent food although you have to side order everything with your steak, brilliant house burger 🍔 and to be honest you don't need anything with it. They have been busy, but left us a long time after dinner, so paid and went for an ice cream
