I stayed here while in town for my daughter’s softball tournament, the room was perfect, location was convenient to food and shopping and even with being right off the highway was quiet. Only complaint is only one ice machine (that I could find) and mini fridge in room offered little chill and no freezer otherwise check in and extending the room last minute was very smooth. Would stay again if back in this area.

I have stayed in 3 Tru properties. Easily identifiable, they are all the same with the exception of the large, brightly colored mural in the lobby depicting the state in which they are located. The lobby/public area is a happy mix of colorful lounging furniture with tables for eating breakfast. Each one has a couple of swinging basket chairs, popular with the younger crowd. Breakfast is a step up from pastries and muffins and offers a day-to-day change of egg variations. The pancake making machine is slow but a popular novelty. The rooms are basic and remind me of a college dorm room. The beds to not have top sheets or blankets. Instead they have a light weight quasi comforter-duvet cover but there is no down duvet inside. I always have to ask for a blanket for warmth in the well air-conditioned rooms. The king sized bed only had 3 pillows in our room so we had to ask for a fourth. The showers are the same in all of the ones I have stayed in, and they are sparkling clean, white, and look brand spanking new. Prices seem to vary depending upon location but if you are looking for a clean hotel with decent amenities, a welcoming gathering area, attentive staff, and consistent reliability, Tru is worth a try.

First time staying at Tru. I will definitely stay again with them in the future.

I loved the handicapped bathroom. Very safe and well thought out. Breakfast was excellent and high tech dispensers were fun. The service and cleaning was excellent. Towels were a little rough.

It was very pretty in the lobby with the painted mural for Harrisonburg and the beds were very comfortable!

Never seen a place where you pay $140 and there is no cofffeee maker in the room

Okay stay over night but noisy neighbor at times , breakfast was fine.

It was new, clean, and had everything I needed.

I requested my room to be clean. Sean stated they clean every other day. I expressed to him that i was checking out the next day. He stated they would come and clean AFTER they finished cleaning for the arrival guest. I was appalled because I was there versus someone who was going to check in. Being a valued member...didnt feel valued. Very disappointed. 1st time staying at a TRU hotel and LAST.

Great location. Clean rooms. Breakfast was ok.

A wonderful clean place to stay!!! Looking forward to going back and visit again.

The staff was extremely friendly. Our room had a very strong musty order like wet smelly socks. The hotel was booked and so we couldn't move rooms. Room was extremely basic and minimalist.

Good experience. Nothing necessarily to write home about but nice enough.

the bed was hard as a rock and very uncomfortable.
