Very nice hotel on the waterfront and ideal for access to the town and all its restaurants. Good little parking garage. Bit of a squeeze to get into but staff do check your car size.

Great location!

The location is great. We can see Donau from our window. The room is remodeled spacious - we booked cormfortable room which is larger than standard room. Unfortunately, the bathroom is very tiny and sqeecy. Breakfast is ok and peolle can site outside seeing the Donau while eating. Parking is very limites and space is very tight. In general, a nice stay.

We spent 3 days at Hotel Residenz prior to River cruise. Everything was excellent especially breakfasts, staff, and we quite enjoyed exploring Passau- very walkable. Thank you!

I can’t say enough good about Hotel Residenz. The staff were friendly and VERY helpful In answering our questions and helping us when needed. The room was clean, quiet and exactly what we had hoped for. The included breakfast surpassed anything I could have expected and for 2 plant based eaters, there were more than enough choices. I’ll stay here again in a heartbeat next time in Passau

Our stay certainly lived up to expectations and the breakfast exceeded them. A better breakfast display of really tasty produce than we have experienced in many more expensive 5 star hotels. The hotel has a great location for the Old town and Christmas market. Our rooms,l were spacious and quiet with comfy beds and very clean bathrooms with lots of hot water. We would definately stay again.
