I loved everything, very clean, everything close, perfect location

Amazing price for a really comfortable private room

It's a good option for solo traveler on a budget, I just wish the beds were a little bigger and longer. I'm about 6'1" and the bed was on the small side. Besides the bed, basic amenities were nice. Had access to a shower, and even some computers in the shared spaced. The library and pub on the main floor was nice, felt very much like being in college. This place would be great if it weren't a hostel and offered some greater privacy for guests.

it is good for walking

Busy hostel with good comfy bed. Ask for a blanket if you don't like cold AC in room which you can't control. The kitchen and dining area is good and well used.e

Great budget option, close to old Quebec, very convenient

The beds were in good condition and the property was relatively clean. Clean sheets were given out at arrival. The main issue was that the temperature was poorly regulated in the living quarters; it remained very hot in the upper floors until about 3am. Also, it was bingo night at the bar, and so there was loud music playing until about 3:30, that even earplugs had a hard time drowning out.

Although the bunk beds may have been a little tight, all in all, the entire experience was very good and worth the stay.

I stayed on the third floor and it is VERY quiet. The facility is quite clean: bed, dorm, bathroom, and shower. It’s close the old Quebec City too. I had my doubts after reading some low-score reviews. But my experience justifies the overall rating.

A unique bunk set up with cubby hole like bunks. Very comfortable and a good nights sleep. Could be difficult for people with claustrophobic fears. Check first as there were some ordinary bunks in my room.

Property can be old but doesn’t mean the towels and bedding couldn’t be better.

Clean affordable rooms at a very good location close to old town. Washrooms, shower rooms and other amenities such as the kitchen, forest area, bar and lobby were beautiful and neat and tidy. The people living in the hostel were kind and took care of the hostel too. Very good experience. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Can get pretty noisy at times and WIFI is poor or not available in some dorms.
