Great centrally located apartments attached to the main hotel, ours had a beautiful view of the Amstel - really polite and helpful reception staff on hand in the main hotel building. Easy transport links on the trams and trains and the hotel has a convenient luggage storage if you need it. *IMPORANT* Only key consideration for other guests considering the apartments in particular is the access... 3 flights of steep and narrow stairs, so not suitable for everyone and the hallway/landing was tired and in need of a refresh.

The accessibility was absolutely shocking. Steep outdoor steps to access, steep staircase to the apartment. internally, stairs to reach the bedroom and steps out to the terrace. bathroom has no door which we didnt like at all and theres no where to get ready. theres no plug sockets near the mirror i had to put hair straighteners in the bathroom and trail my extension lead across the floor which is dangerous near water. hairdryers fixed to the bathroom wall which was a nightmare. theres no storage in the bedroom only a tiny wardrobe no drawers or anything either, no desk etc.

Arrived at Eden Studio and Apartments. Was told apartment was up four flights of stairs. These stairs are super dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. They wouldn’t be legal in the UK. The actual apartment was very tired and dirty. Lighting was poor. Not how described on hotels.com site. Also site says “stairs”, not steep. We wouldn’t have booked if we had know how bad they were. I contacted hotels.com who even agreed they looked really dangerous and went back down to the hotel - explained we were very unhappy that we paid what we did for that. We were then given two twin rooms in the hotel and breakfast as we no longer had a kitchen. Did have to pay an additional fee though. Was a nice trip in the end. Can’t fault the hotel rooms and breakfast. Hotel was far superior to the apartment. You wouldn’t even know they are the same company. Wouldn’t recommend the apartment to anyone - should be taken off hotels.com website.

Loved the actual apartment and location was amazing but the 3 flights of stairs are an accident waiting to happen. We are an able bodied family but found the stairs terrifyingly steep. Getting our suitcase up and down was a nightmare.

Stayed in Eden hotel and apartments in spacious apartment with great canal view. Apartment was clean but baseboards were dusty, and carpet was dated. Stairs to apartment were narrow and what you would find in old canal house.

Suicidal stairs. Not in the actual hotel. Not as advertised in pictures. Very, very difficult access with any size of suitcase apart from a carry on! Pretty expensive for what we got…. One shower for four people was just about doable but no sink with toilet in second bedroom meant having to go back down dangerous stairs to wash hands… Shame as main hotel looked nice and Amsterdam in great….!

Great location, loved sitting by the window in the morning with a cappuccino and watching the canal action.

The apartment we stayed in was old, tired and out dated. With terrible lighting and layout, shower was rubbish and toilet cubicle was tiny with no ventilation so had a horrible smell. However the location was amazing, staff and hotel lovely, shame the apartment was sub standard.

Brilliant apartment for a city break holiday. We stayed in the 4 bed two level studio apartment. It was located up 4 flights of steep windy Dutch stairs but you swiftly got the hang of how to navigate them. It was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was only the bathroom mirror which sometimes made getting ready a challenge. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Good location for transport and walkable to shopping, trips and sights. Only thing dropping the rating was we were at the front of the building and it was noisy overnight. We were woken every night 2-3 times by noise from the streets. Otherwise great location and helpful staff.

The stairs to the apartment are quite steep but doable. The sheets on the bed aren’t fitted sheets and end up untucked by morning. Slightly annoying. But everything else was great

It was great from check in to departure, only thing I would say is if you’re staying in the apartments the stairs are very steep so could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Look, the apartment we booked was lovely and we were ready for stairs. But what we got were stairs that were grossly steep, highly narrow and very very thin in the tread. Three full flights and another in the apartment itself. It was beyond a joke. The sole warning was that there might be stairs nothing about the real nature of them. We had to rent two rooms in the hotel instead which cost us an extra $1700 (AUD). Had we been advised of the real nature of the stairs we'd never have stayed.

Nice apartment, with a great view. Really loved the great big windows, but couldn’t work out how to turn down the radiator. The kitchen was well appointed but could have done with an extra pan that worked on the induction hob. Great bed, nice bathroom, could have done with a bit of extra power in the shower. Easy to find, close by two metro lines, and a short walk round the corner to the Rembrandtsplein. Attached to a get hotel, with a really nice bar. Glad I found the place will likely return.

The apartment is in a separate building from the main hotel. It is not as modern looking and looks a bit tired in places. The carpets look old. Otherwise, everything was good. The apartment was large, comfortable and in a great location. It had a beautiful view of the Amstel and we enjoyed our stay there.
