Though it may not be close to Fukui station, it will surprise you with the nice, warm, and cozy ryokan. This is my first time to try a ryokan in Japan, and I was really surprised with the quality of service. The room was spacious with all equipment, and an onsen was included if you want to relax a bit at night. For around 7500 yen/night, I bet you might not find a better deal with this experience.
