I liked that the property is tucked away. It felt safe. I did not like the water pressure in the sink or the fact that the fridge did not work.

We travel a lot, it was clean, staff was great, breakfast was good and easy access to everywhere we needed to go! Highly recommend

Our family of four stayed for 8 nights to attend a church conference in Vista and spend quality time on our family vacation. We had a wonderful time at the Ayres Hotel. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and attentive. Alphonse checked us in and Joy checked us out. The housekeeping staff were also friendly and thorough with tidying our room. The pool was fun and the hot tub was a bonus. Delicious breakfast and although there was only one washing machine and dryer, we found a laundry mat down the street along with an Albertsons, places to eat, and gas stations. We were able to check out San Marcos, Carlsbad, Oceanside, and San Diego while staying at this hotel. The rate was affordable given this area and overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. Loved how family friendly this hotel is. We will definitely be back again.

The staff everywhere in the hotel was super welcoming, front desk, to the staff in the restaurant. Just everyone always asked if we needed anything. They were friendly and made us feel like we were family. This is why this the third time the last year we have stayed with Ayers when we are traveling. Their service is the same in the two hotels we have stayed.

This is our go-to hotel when visiting family in Carlsbad. We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.

Charged us an extra 30 dollars for an hour early check in, bar and food said open til 11, guy stopped serving food at 10 and closed everything by 1030, called for extra pillows was told to go downstairs and ask so we did and front desk guy was rude and rolled his eyes, breakfast was good and had great selection

Had a great time staying here with family would come here again. Pros: - hotel is clean and doesn't smell - beds are springy and sheets soft - liked the size of the shower and smell of soaps - breakfast has good variety - area is quiet and safe Cons - elevator is noisy kinda freaked me out a little. - coffee at breakfast tastes like McDonald's coffee

Room is clean and comfortable. Staff are free and breakfast selection is decent.

Amazing break

This hotel is beautiful! After leaving the first hotel we booked because it was gross, we stumbled upon this one and I was so thankful! Alfonso at the front desk is the absolute best! There’s a bar that offers drinks and artisan pizzas, there’s a pool, hot tub, the breakfast is amazing with made to order omelets! The location was excellent, plenty of parking. The room was huge, clean, and comfortable. We had a refrigerator and microwave. If we ever travel back to San Diego we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

This Ayres hotel was one of the nicer ones that we have been to. I was suprised to see the renovated rooms and cleanliness.

Wonderful weekend Trip visiting Family. Great stay with all the amenities you need & some you didn’t realize you needed.
