Well located

Great little hotel close to central market in Cadiz. Modern room with a good shower, AC, internet, and a comfy bed. I appreciate the hotel stipulates its a 1 star hotel, but I do think some small changes would further enhance the guest experience: A kettle in the room with some tea/coffee (this is well remarked by many guests) Ensuring towels arent damaged when replenishing towels (slight larger, higher quality, towels would also be great). Breakfast quality could be improved and again some quality control to remove chipped plates from service (and ensure cultery is clean). Perhaps have a smaller breakfast offering but focus on quality. I would stay again, but would probably skip breakfast.

Whilst only a 1 Star rated hotel the location, character, ambience and service were 5 Star. Room was small but perfectly ok for our short stay in the lovely old town area of Cádiz. Lovely place to stay

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was perfect, we had a nice balcony. The position of the Casual Con Duende Cadiz was perfect to enjoy, restaurants, tapas and shops.

Wonderful property! Everything was spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows were comfy, and the lights (something I’m kind of a stickler about) were perfect. Great stay.

The place was modern and attractive. The breakfast was amazing for its price, and included juices, pasteries, fruits, bacon, eggs, coffees, and more.

Hotel is in a great location, walking distance to all the mayor tourist attractions. The negative was that there was no coffee machine in our room.

No parking facilities at the hotel. The parking is approx 5 min walk. The fact that they accept animals is a little bit of a problem. The dog next door to us started barking at 12:30 at night and 8:30 in the morning. The hotel is a good location close to everything. Room was very clean.

Great little hotel near the cathedral. Perfect option for us on our two day trip.

The hotel is in a good area to explore the city on foot and is surrounded by good cafes , restaurants and bars . It is a 15 min walk to La Caleta beach . The room is small but the shower and bathroom facilities were good . The breakfast is terrible . There is very little selection , the toaster doesn’t work and the food looked and tasted as having been recycled from yesterday . What we think was turkey slices were described as “braised peacock “ which in all likelihood would taste better . The receptionist who checked us in late at night was very pleasant and helpful .

Very nice hotel and great location, very friendly Staff

The staff here was beyond great. Multi-lingual, knowledgeable, always helpful, reception manned 24 hours a day. I dealt specifically with Lucia, Maria and Anna. A very nice breakfast buffet is included with lengthy hours. Bathrooms are new.

Great service and the room was very clean with everything you'd expect provided. The inner courtyard was lovely as was the buffet breakfast. The recommended car park is a bit of a way from the hotel (but the hotel's very central to the old town which is all pedestrianised) - nonetheless a bit of a slog transporting luggage in the August heat.
