The shower curtain is too short for the shower stall so when you shower the floor gets absolutely soaked and it is easy to slip getting out. Other than that the stay was lovely.

Helpful service, there was some small existing trash in the room under the bed when I got there, but nothing major. The door lock wasn't updated with the code in the email, but the staff quickly got the new code for me and were very helpful. Room was in great condition.

The Inn portion is on the second floor of a house that is over 100 years old. I did not realize this because I didn't see that info in their description, and I walk with a cane. Carrying my belongings up and down the stairs was difficult and required more than one trip. Also, the lock on my door would work. The downstairs of the Inn is their ice cream shop. The is no registration desk, etc, and I had to wait for one of the store employees to finish with customers before she was free to help me. It took time, two employees and several trips up and down the stairs for me before it was resolved and I could get in my room. Later in the evening, two workers arrived to see if they could solve the issue (old house, warm temps, door sticking) and theere was no further issues with the door and lock. The room itself was quite nice, with an expansive walk-in shower. The rooms are named after ice cream flavors. Mine was a 'mini room' which was fine for my purposes. It was very clean. and since it is an old house, things like the closet door sticking were to be expected. The bed was comfortable, with nice linens. I felt it was a change from the sameness of many hotels. But their description of the facilties needs to mention that there is no elevator, and that all rooms are on the second floor. The entrance to the building also has several stairs to climb as well. Definitely not ADA accessible.

The room was small but cute. They did not lave any cups for water or coffee so had go and ask for those. There also was no Kleenex anywhere. The Roku TV was difficult to manage and could not get a local tv channel. The stairs were steep and the worst thing was the bed. I normally sleep like a rock but I kept waking up having to change positions and my back ended up killing me and my husband. Would not stay here again.

If you get to property early enough you can eat and enjoy ice cream at the Creamery. This property is a refurbished vintage building/house. It is comfortable like a broke in leather coat. The Neapolitan Room that we were in was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The setting of this property is on a busy downtown road and paved parking, but the traffic didn't hinder a restful night. Also no breakfast is included and the Creamery doesn't open until after check out time. However, the Farmer's Feed Mill for food and Taylor Fork Nature Trail for restful scenery is less than a mile away.

We did not realize the Inn was located on a major intersection and traffic noise was loud. The train was loud, also, but we didn't hear it after 10:30PM. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice.

If you're looking for a luxury stay at a 4-5 star hotel, this is not your place. If you're looking for a place to lay your head down and rest while in this small town, it's not too bad. There really was no "service" for the hotel, as none was needed. Check in and check out are done with door codes, and there really is no "front desk". The room was very small, but good enough for a solo traveler for the night. The room was clean with one exception, the window air conditioner was pretty dusty, which made me wonder what I might be breathing in. Speaking of the window air conditioner, it was pretty loud and being right over the bed made it difficult to hear the TV. The location is dated, but so is most of the town. Overall, I got what I was looking for, which was a place to stay where I didn't feel unsafe and was well kept. It's a cozy place that served it's purpose.
