I had the most unpleasant experience of my life as a paying guest at a hotel there. It’s one of those things.

It was functional, clean and well maintained.

No real food or snack available

Good, clean, cheap and with free parking in a good location. Staff were kind. Only complaint was that electric car charging did not work but would recommend this for family travellers visiting Düsseldorf on a budget.

Poor facilities. Room on 4th floor and lift was unservicable meaning a very long climb with 3 peoples baggage. Room very small for 3 people, smell of drains. Aircon not working meaning poor ventilation. Allevated by having window open but as hotel backed onto railway line meant either no sleep from constant noise or suffocation from lack of ventilation. Very overpriced for what we recieved, would have gone to Holiday Inn Express over the road if had not already paid for this accomodation in advance.

Room was not cleaned throughly. Floor was dirty and not vacuumed. Had to put luggage on stools. During covid, unacceptable for such condition.

I would not recommend staying there. I have stayed at B&B Hotels in the past and never had any problems. The staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. I have never felt so unwelcomed at a hotel.

Die Dame an der Rezeption war absolut unfreundlich. Ich habe selten so ein Personal erlebt. Die Aussage: „ Ich gehe jetzt in die Küche, sonst haben Sie morgen nichts zum Frühstück“ ist absolut dreist. Nicht hilfsbereit, man fühlte nicht nicht willkommen. Schade. Das Hotel ist eine reinste Baustelle. Überall im Zimmer Flecken. Rezeption gefühlt nie besetzt.

Der Check-In war gut und unproblematisch. Das Zimmer war nicht so toll. Auf dem Teppich neben dem Bett war ein großer Fleck (Erbrochenes??). Das Badezimmer war auch nur mittelmäßig sauber. Teilweise lagen noch Haare vom Vorgänger herum. Was absolut gar nicht ging, war die Temperatur im Zimmer. Es waren gefühlt fast 30°C und auch langes Lüften half nicht wirklich. Eine Beschwerde bei der Reption, aufgrund der nicht funktionierenden Klimaanlage, war leider erfolglos. Da das Hotel zur einen Seite zur Bahn und zur anderen Seite zur Hauptstraße liegt, konnte man das Fenster nicht auf lassen. Das Schlafen mit 4 Personen bei fast 30°C und ohne Klimaanlage war dementsprechend.

Bereikbaarheid kan beter, had geen code voor parkeergarage, medewerker was spoorloos… pas na 30 minuten geholpen. Familiekamer super klein, voor 4 personen is de kamer ondermaats . We hadden een kinderwagen mee ( baby van 3 maanden oud ) . Met de kinderwagen in de kamer kon je niet vrij bewegen.

Gut gelegen, aber in keinem gutem Zustand. Defekter Fön, durchgelegene Matratzen, offener Lüfter im Bad.

Alles im allem gut, nur ein bissen klein. Aber daüber kann man hinweg sehen.

Gute Zug (u und a Bahn) Anbindung. Schnell zufuß in der Altstadt

Es war okay.

Check in was tough, as we arrived around 22.00 and the reception was closed. You are meant to use a code to check in, but we never received this. We called the emergency contact number and they helped us right away. The room was lovely and clean. It faced the train tracks, but we couldn't hear anything. Great location and easy to get around the city. We did ask for an extra duvet/blanket, but it took about 7 hours to get it (first request was made in person at 9am). We asked the receptionist 3 times and ended up getting it when we coincidentally heard the housekeeping team in the hallway. They had not been made aware of the request, but they were very helpful and brought one right away.
