I have stayed at this hotel twice before and have always been given permission for late check-out until 12:30 without any problems. Today was our third stay, and as usual I requested a late check-out which was also approved. However, at exactly 12:00 the electricity in the room suddenly went out, even though we did not remove the access card from its place. After I contacted the receptionist, I was told that the card had to be updated first in the lobby (something that had never been informed to me before). Because we had limited time, we did not have time to go down to the lobby. As a result, I had to take a shower and relieve myself in the dark. This was quite disappointing considering my previous stay experiences were always good. Hopefully in the future information like this can be conveyed more clearly to guests. It's a shame we won't be coming to stay here again because of this unprofessional incident.
