It's really great, it's easy to go anywhere

I love the vintage vibes, the traditional Javanese home ambiance that is strongly presented here in Sonosewu. The sound of water featured around the lovely courtyard, never mind the swarm of buzzing mosquitos lol. The rooms we were assigned were lovely enough, but the toilet smell was permeating through the whole room. The linen used were not fresh either. We are thankful for the air-conditioning system. The kitchen has everything like in your own home with vintage wares.

The guesthouse concept is very welcoming, homey, and very Jogja. The definition of simple yet comfortable. It's like staying at Pak Dhe Bu Dhe's house, a la FTV, hehe. Thank you, owner, and all the staff. Stay safe and healthy.

I will return to this inn if I go to Jogja.

So homey! All the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is serene~ The room is also clean, the AC is cold, the water heater is safe, basically it's okay. Really feel at home! It's a shame I had to rush to check out because I had activities from the morning, huhu. See you when I see you Sonosewu.

The location is quite far from the city. From the outside, the place is very beautiful, instagrammable. But maybe because there are many trees, it feels like there are a lot of mosquitoes. I don't know if it's the same in other rooms or not, but I was in a room on the first floor with a direct view outside and still felt the room was not comfortable to stay in. The cleanliness still needs to be improved (such as sheets, blankets, etc.). The smell of the septic tank also often came from the toilet, the water heater didn't work at dawn. Finally, I anticipated all the problems by buying mosquito spray and air freshener. Kitchen facilities are there (there are breakfast bread and jam), but the cleanliness still needs to be improved. It is indeed a challenge to manage an inn with a "grandmother's house" or "rural" concept, but it must not be forgotten that the inn is important for the comfort of visitors to stay. Hopefully this inn will be even better!

Comfortable environment, not noisy.

We arrived late at night, but check-in was still handled well. The accommodation was comfortable enough for a rest. Towels and soap were provided, the bathroom was clean, and there was a sink and clothes hangers. The air conditioning worked well, and there was a single table and chair for storing small items. The accommodation area was beautiful and quiet. It was clean and pleasant enough for us with children.

A comfortable place with adequate facilities, just like home. You can boil hot water for the kids' baths because you get a room without a water heater.

Clean, spacious room, and budget-friendly guesthouse surrounded by a lush garden and quiet area. It is a comfortable room although I have no AC inside. Wi-Fi is working really well. Gate and parking are enough within the space. Easy check-in/out and also there is a little shop near the lobby where you can buy some toiletries. I didn’t try the breakfast they provided. Would recommend this to backpackers ;)

The price is less than 150, it has air conditioning, and the entire room and surroundings are incredibly clean. The staff is very friendly.
