The beds and pillows are terrible. The tv is also terrible but it’s a cute place.

Absolutely loved this place, will stay again this week!

It's a destination able to get out and about and feel safe with police station nearby to walk about. Very pleasant and worth the extra cash for private room and bath

My stay at the Block Hotel & Commons in Silverthorne, CO was excellent. I was meeting some people for a local hike the next morning, and I wanted to break up the drive to the trailhead. The front desk staff was very hospitable and nice to talk with. She checked me into the hotel and answered my questions about some local activities/amenities. I talked with a couple of guys exploring the area, visiting from DC, and one guy had just moved to Golden. It was enjoyable to talk with them about the pros/cons of where to potentially live along the front range. I then took a short walk along the riverside greenway right outside of the hotel before checking out the hot tub on the 3rd floor level. I talked with a few people while at the hot tub who were in the area to take a few runs at A-Basin and Mary Jane ski resorts. The all-male dorm room was very comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend staying at the Block Hotel & Commons if you need a place to lodge near Silverthorne.

This was such a fun place to stay! I met so many interesting people in the hot tub, kitchen and bar, but there are also many areas where you can sit undisturbed or do yoga. They even have yoga mats you can borrow!

Clean, new, pretty, lots of seating areas, great planning with bunk beds in Female room and bathrooms ( coed in sink area— with plenty of sinks and space- but then separate female shower/ toilet areas). Key card entry into kitchen and rooms. Plenty free parking. Good location by river walk and near to interstate 70. Highly recommend

The awesome vibe of this place more than made up for the small size of our room. It was very conducive to meeting amazing people and just lounging around in a beautiful environment. The common areas were so well thought out and so fun, and the shared bathrooms and showers were clean and offered plenty of privacy. I would go back in a heartbeat!

For my first time in a hostel this was the place to do it! Everyone was so nice, I didn’t know I needed a lock for the lockers in the shared rooms, the front desk was nice enough to say someone had left one that I could use. I thought it would be weird sharing a room but it was comfortable and had a personal shelf/light. The room was never full (fits up to six) since it is off season- for me that was great getting used to a shared room. I loved the common spaces and the additional ‘more private’ common space (locked entry to several rooms) was super useful to unpack without disturbing others too much. They’ve thought of everything. Bathrooms were nice enough with stall and showers separated by gender. There’s a hot tub which I enjoyed a few nights and even a bar onsite. Highly recommend!

Last minute trip to CO for skiing. Hostel was very clean, everyone had great energy. Great bar but no food. Very convenient to Keystone, Breck and Vail.

The staff was truly amazing - SO friendly and helpful. Everything was VERY clean - the cleaning staff is obsessed with excellence - it’s obvious. And - just watch them WORK. Beautiful conscientious hard workers. All the common areas are beautiful and inspiring. I will return and recommend. For sure.

This place is the best. The front desk employees are kind, friendly and helpful. The place is so clean and offers fun activities and spaces to relax.

Great for a cheap stay while skiing. Very clean, good facilities, bed, sheets, and showers. Would stay here again

We love The Pad, however this stay our bed was unbearably hard and uncomfortable—we didn’t get much sleep for 3 nights. :(
