Excellent beds and pillows. The room felt safe. Enough space to dry out our clothes. The instant coffee was hard to enjoy but at least they had something to boil water. The water also was excellent. Great people!

We were in room 26, which is essentially a tucked away building with doors on each end, and doors inside on each side of the hallway. The walls were very thin and you could hear everything in the hallway, but somehow the (very small) rooms seemed quiet when inside - so a false sense of privacy. There's nothing really wrong with this accomodation, and I appreciated the check in process literally just being that you receive a message with your door code and entering in a blank code behind you when you leave. It makes traveling a ton easier not having to worry about meeting check in employees at a set time. My biggest complaint is the shower would not get really hot, and it would keep going cold then hot during the shower. For reference, during my 10 minute shower, it went cold 5 times - so it's not because it was excessively long. My second complaint, is that the mini fridge was warm - so everything in it overnight would have actually stayed colder if we left it in the car. Finally, more so a recommendation, is to have a microwave in the room or even the building hallway. Overall this place was fine, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again but I wouldn't necessarily seek it out.

Wonderful stay! The host was very welcoming and provided some good recommendations for our trip! She was also extremely accommodating and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The check in and out was super easy. Just a code in the door. The room/bathroom was super clean and cozy. Just what we needed for a night to sleep and continue our Ring road trip next day. Daddy's pizzeria nearby was excellent. There is a Gas station close. Very quiet even though there were lots of campervans around.

Vogahraun 4 was a good night’s stay, and not many complaints as long as you’re aware that this is a guesthouse on a campground. My room was in a building which had several other private rooms, and the guests were respectful and quiet. RVs and tent campers filled the land outside of the building. My room had an en-suite bathroom, and a fridge. Yes, the shower situation just isn’t the best - don’t put any of your belongings on the floor while you shower, the water does seep everywhere and needs to be squeegeed. HOWever, the floor is heated so it does dry up fairly fast! Bedding was clean and very comfy. Doors opened via keypad, and checkout was done with the keypad as well. All information shared by email, and was thorough and easy to follow. I did not encounter any staff in person, aside from the lovely young people who worked at the pizza place on property! I did leave a piece of jewelry there, and they contacted me about it which I appreciated. Overall, it was a solid nights sleep in a really cool area of Iceland.

First time I am in a place where you have bathroom and no soap/shower gel/shampoo….nothing of that. Also the hot water goes on and off during shower. Obviously I couldn’t get a soap to shower bc there was not front desk at that time around 8-9 PM.

The stay was beautiful and clean. The bathroom was very nice with great water pressure and heated floors.

Room was pricy but very basic. We ended up facing the parking lot and camping area and got to hear all the comings and goings. Beds were comfortable, but I found hairs on the comforter.

Lack of amenities. No shampoo or bath soap. No tv in the room. Only one pillow per bed.

Teeeny rooms, no place to put much of anything, luggage serves as tabletops. Bathroom is minute& again no flat services. Could hardly wait to leave

We liked the self check in- and daddi’s pizza - remote location and it was nice place to spend the night- quiet and clean- safe- good parking.

It is kind of brand new upgraded cabin room with private bathroom

We loved this property!! It had warm floors, everyone was very nice, they had laundry service, wish we could have stayed longer.

Convenient to Lake Myvatn sights. Clean facilities.

Was exactly what we were looking for a great and affordable spot to stay after journeying from KEF to Myvatn in one day. Bonus was Daddis Pizza which was a great way to recover after the 6-7 Hour plus drive. Would stay again. Loved that they had a kettle on the room for us to reheat our meals and the beds were perfect!
