The ocean view was incredible, close to the beach to hear the waves from your balcony at night gave me complete relaxation I was looking for. Food/Drink menu you couldn't go wrong with any selection. Best dinner I enjoyed was the Catch of the Day. All staff was helpful and attention to our needs. Look forward to coming back soon.

The food, drinks and the service at this hotel was perfect. The rooms were beautiful and it was the ideal boutique hotel. All staff recommendations for additional restaurants were top notch. 10/10

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the front desk team via WhatsApp, and the hotel feels new with great amenities. The main drawback was the top-floor suite with the palapa-style roof. Because the room wasn’t fully sealed from the outside, the AC didn’t stay in well, making the room very hot during the day and not as cool as we would have liked at night. We also heard pigeons nesting above the roof throughout the night, which was tough. The food also felt a bit overpriced for what it was, though that may come with the territory of a boutique hotel. Overall, we would come back, but we would definitely avoid the top-floor suites next time.

Exellent location in Puerto Escondido

Very relaxing and very clean. The only bad I can say is that they don’t have coffee until the staff comes to work, which is about 7:15am. I am a morning person and like to walk on the beach with coffe. Everything else is good. Probably will not stay here again.

It was not clear to me that this beach wasn’t swimmable, the room was okay but the bathroom is very small and while the staff was very kind the price is too high for what you get.

Beautiful setting overlooking the beach, beautifully designed suites/rooms, removed from the commercial areas but overlooking beautiful zicatela beach.. Beach is pleasant to observe with enormous waves and spectacular sunsets though not safe for swimming. Visitors would be better advised to book their own transportation to beaches and other sites as the services employed or contacted by the hotel charge a multiple of the prevailing commercial transport rates.

The food at the premises was delicious with a variety of options. The bed comfort was perfect !

Casa Joseph has thought of everything, to sunscreen and aloe caddies bright to the beach cabanas to having daily yoga/fitness offerings. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. 15 minute walk to either end of the beach where there are commercial areas with shops and restaurants.

Excellence service of all the staff specially ; Karen, Sergio, Jona and Marco security and gardeners . It’s a very warm area the front desk seems is missing some fresh air and or air conditioning

I mean what can I say about Casa Joseph? There are no words. Service is incredible, just so attentive and to the standards. Actually, correction, above standards. Amazing stay, wished I was there for longer than 4 days. Definitely recommended!

The property was beautiful and the service was excellent. The food was delicious. We would definitely return. We wish there was a sandwich option provided in the evening. Also, railings on the staircases. We loved the room amenities, the beach bags and straw hats saved us! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
