Very nice, clean and modern. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The hotel is centrally located with tons to do, see, and plenty of places to eat, drink and shop. I will definitely be staying here again!

Stayed in a garden room which was spacious and had a balcony with seating. The room s modern, clean and well maintained.

This hotel may not be 5 stars however their service is beyond five stars. The staff are very attentive, professional and friendly. They will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best. The manager Jose is amazing and the staff appear as if they are treated well and are committed to make your stay exceptional. They made me feel at home while abroad. The staff must love what they do because it comes across when they interact with you. I received five star service during my stay. We want to come back! Thank you all at Chic & Basic Gravity!

We needed a hotel with parking for a single night stay in Porto and stumbled on Chic through the hotels.com. We were hoping for a quiet room and the staff was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. We loved the modern decor and the room was exceptionally quiet despite the hotel being full on a Friday night. The location was also perfect for us—within walking distance of any number of good restaurants and tourist sites. We like the Chic & Basic Gravity so much, that when we needed a hotel the night before our flight, we decided to book there instead of staying at a hotel near the airport.

The staff were all very friendly and chatty and more than willing to help. They even gave us a free upgrade upon arrival. It’s great that the hotel put out free cake, tea and coffee for guests for an hour each day. We also loved the happy hour each day! Valentina’s restaurant onsite was also very nice. Overall a beautiful hotel in a great location. I would definitely recommend it!

It was a fabulous hotel! Fantastic location, parking in the basement, clean, chic, cozy, and inexpensive! What more could we ask for?

Fab hotel. Superb team all very helpful. We received lots of little treats throughout our stay. No tea / coffee making facilities in rooms - coffee machines and pods only. True brits we do like a cuppa. They did serve comp tea and cake at 4pm in the lobby every day. Highly recommend this hotel - amazing team and a great location. Great power shower and fab super large bath towels, and lush bathroom toiletries.

We loved our stay in this hotel. Situated very conveniently in the city centre of Porto has an underground parking, nice restaurant. The check-in was easy and pleasant, so ad a whole stay inthe hotel. Very clean, comfortable, the staff is symply wonderful. Would definitely recommend

Staffing was always an issue-especially in the restaurant. Front desk seemed to be short staffed as well.
