would recommend this hotel when staying in Altotting

Loved our stay. I would definitely come back. Beautiful hotel, in the center of everything. This was such a cute little town and we had a lovely stay. Would recommend to everyone. Breakfast was delicious, my favorite thing about this hotel.

It is a very nice property, I had the suite which made it very spacious and pleasant viw of the square etc. The young woman at check in was not very knowledgable about the way to provide information, e.g., about breakfast, the in room amenities, offering to help with any local information that might be of interest etc. It is almost as if it was her first day.

Perfect location, clean and modern rooms in a historic building right in the middle of the city. Friendly staff and an incredible breakfast. Very walkable, great restaurant options. Highly recommended.

A very nice hotel. No A/C was the reason it missed 5 stars. Our Junior suite was nice and roomy, nice bathroom and good mattress. Other then the initial problem at check in we only met great people working there. Breakfast is probably the best you’ll get within 100km. Al in all a very nice stay and we certainly will chose it again once we need to visit our Bavarian family roots again.

While our stay is rather pleasant, I think the hotel staff can work on being more warm and welcoming. Bed is comfy. Breakfast selection is great. Dining area looks amazing but a male waiter makes us feel unwelcome.

Es war wie soweit alles perfekt. Leider lässt der Service am Frühstück nach. Es gab keine frischen Rühreier und auch ansonsten war der Service unaufmerksam.

Das Personals (insbesondere in der Bar) war ziemlich schroff. Ein erster Versuch, um 17 Uhr im Restaurant etwas zu trinken, scheiterte mit der Antwort „es ist bereits alles für die Reservierungen am Abend eingedeckt, versuchen Sie es an der Bar“. Die Tische in der Bar waren jedoch ebenfalls für ein Event reserviert, das 2 Std. später beginnen sollte. Obwohl wir deutlich machten, dass wir nur kurz etwas trinken wollten, kam die Antwort „alle Tische sind reserviert“. Erst nach einer kurzen Diskussion durften wir uns an einen Tisch setzten, der in 2 Std. reserviert war. Anderen Hotelgästen ging es ebenso. Man hatte als Hotelgast das Gefühl, dass man stört.

Die Freundlichkeit des Servicepersonals um 17:00 hat sehr viel Luft nach oben. Wir wollten etwas trinken und wurden darauf hingewiesen, alle Tische wären für das Valentinsevent reserviert. Einige Tische ab 18:00 der Großteil ab 19:00. Erst nach einer Diskussion, und den Hinweis an uns, dass die Leute einfach unerwünschter Weise „hocken bleiben würden“, „durften“ wir uns setzen. Es ist einfach so, daß der Ton die Musik macht, und in diesem Fall war er schroff und unfreundlich.
