Room was comfy, breakfast was good, innkeeper was not as friendly as we are used to when staying at a B&B. But the problem was the very strong smell of animal urine that permeated the downstairs and the 2nd floor where our room was. It wasn't subtle - it was bad.

The Davis Inn was lovely to stay at. Close by a lot of coffee cafes, bars , and a grocery store. The house self is in well taken care of beautiful inside and out. Ron one of the owners was very helpful and communicated well and was very helpful. There is breakfast options with Eggs, Yogurt and Bannas and cereal and etc. Perfect location for a New England get away . There is TV with Roku in it so can watch Netflix and Hulu. The Davis Station for the Train is right around the corner a five minute walk at most. Would definitely stay again when visiting Boston Metro

Great location and fantastic home with great amenities.

I had a lovely time at the Davies Inn. It was really quaint and comfortable. My room was nice , the bed was really comfortable. I really enjoyed the daily coffee French press at breakfast . Definitely recommend if you look for something quiet

The hotel is a charming B&B in a safe and quiet area, with convenient access to the Red Line MBTA station for easy access to Cambridge and Boston. There are also amenties in Davis Square itself including bars, restaurants and the Somerville Theater. The room was very clean and well maintained. The communal area is very quaint with a large dining table for enjoying breakfast with the other guests, and a selection of books, games and DVDs for borrowing during the stay. Breakfast includes bread with toaster, peanut butter, honey and coffee laid out as well as eggs, fruit, jams and yoghurts in the fridge, and homemade bakes on the table. A cat lives in the hotel but doesn't go into the rooms. Overall it was a wonderful place to stay. However, be advised that the building isn't manned by staff 24/7. Instead, entry is secured via a key code on the outside doors as well as your room itself. Unfortunately, there was a mix up with my booking outside of my control and I was unable to gain access to the property when I arrived. After contacting Expedia to explain my situation they were able to inform one of the staff who rectified the issue and let me in. I was fortunate that this happened mid-afternoon and was easily resolved but had I arrived late at night this may have been a problem. For this reason, I would recommend contacting the hotel before arriving to make sure your booking and entry is confirmed, particularly if like me you are arriving from outside the US or Canada.

Charming B&B - everything about it was perfect!

A very well run bed-and-breakfast in the heart of Medford. Walkable to many places and the T is a short walk or Uber right away.

Well organized and maintained. A cute little BnB.

Excellent location, close to Davis Square and Tufts which was our reason for visiting. Short walk to the T to get into downtown Boston and many fine restaurants nearby. House was in great shape and there was a pleasant sitting room which even had a cat to pet.

It is clean and quiet, but not convenient. If you have lot of luggage it will be hard because there's no elevator for 2nd and 3rd floor room. If you stay more than one or two days， there is no laundry facility either. The 3rd floor room is essentially attic room

The house was nice. But our room had a musty smell to it. Not sure if it was from the a/c or the carpeting in the room. But other than that we found the bed nice and the location was good for getting into downtown.

Great stay, reasonable price for being close to Downtown Boston and easy to access transportation. Clean room and shared bathroom, 24/7 air conditioned. Would stay again.

Amazing.

This was a well priced option near Cambridge and walking distance to Davis Square. We stayed here for a few nights to visit friends and had a very comfortable experience. Would stay again!

Very beautiful place- clean- property in very good condition, nice big rooms- the owners are very kind, breakfast was good, the owner was baking for us delicious pastries every day, we will definitely go back

We loved the ease of check in and the ability to walk to restaurants. It was on a quiet street and super clean!

Property was pleasant, clean, thoughtfully renovated and safe and quiet. Would like a full cooked breakfast.
