The front door lock didn’t work, you can just push the door open, for three days no one cleaned or made the bed. The desk clerk was awesome fellow but the room was very disappointing, worn out sagging mattress. I hope the new owners can turn this place around.

Not much around the motel(restarant, shopping)

Well it started with no service at the desk you have to dial a instructed number then someone shows up! As I needed to find a bathroom I push open a employee's only door and Oh Boy! This place needs to be condemned.I proceeded to the assigned room upon opening the door there was an ear plug by the bed old dirty rugs full of burnt cigarette marks pill bottle under the night table with bottle caps just discusting.

I loved staying there; the place was clean and the staff were great.

Booked and paid for this room through Expedia. Was forced to pay again at check in. Completely UNACCEPTABLE! NOT SURE WHO'S SCAMMING WHO HERE!

This motel is what you would expect for the price of it. I enjoyed my stay as the room and the bedding were clean.

Room is cold

When we arrived the parking lot and hotel was in completeness. There are very few outside lights, the sign was not lit and hard to locate without the GPS telling me that I had arrived. Note on the door gave 2 phone numbers to call, person said to give them 2 minutes to arrive - called back after almost 10 minutes of sitting in a dark parking tot with nothing else around. The room was okay, there was a slight urine smell in the bathroom area. A second door led to an inner hallway with no interior lock for an added sense of security. The air conditioner was very drafty as well as the main door – used the door mats to block out the drafts. The heater was a wall mounted fire place. Towels were clean, bedding was clean. Did not use the supplied amenities.

My biggest concern at this motel was the terrible condition of door locks. The main exterior door handle appeared to be a passage set with key lock that was in I’ll fitting condition. No door chain or suitable alternative. An additional door led to an internal corridor and this was wide open when I first entered the room. There were no staff present in the office when I arrived, just a sign saying call this number. I ended upsetting a chair against the front door and a luggage rack against the corridor door in an attempt to feel safe for the night.

The property is tucked only a short distance from the highway, so that was convenient. The key was left for us, so we could get into pur rooms easily, even without a staff person there. One of our rooms didnt lock from the inside. The rooms were both very dirty. There was ALOT of visible debris on the floor under the bed and around the edges of the room.like it hadnt been vacuumed for years under the bed. There were even crumbs on one of the bedsheet, under the covers. We would NOT recommend!! My parnets asked us to let them know about this place, for when they pass through. We told them don't stay there!

It could have been cleaner with just simple cleaning .All in all not bad for a cheep place to stay..

I was a little concerned after arriving but i couldnt get a refund. The place had no battery in one rooms fire detector. The other room the fire detector was missing. The lights werent working due to a breaker issue in one of the 2 rooms I rented. They managed to fix the lighting issues. The place had dirty towels hanging in the bathroom. Walls are very dirty and need a paint job. The floors werent vaccumed or kepted up under the beds or around the edge of the room. It was very unpleasant but we slept and left. Never to return to that location. The places in the area were very limited and this was the one place available for what we needed. I now know why. They could make it a very nice place.. they need to clean alot better and fix things up. There was also a weird yellow substance behind the one bathroom toilet. Food from previous people also left sauages and veggies in the fridge. It could have been alot better. I would never recommend this place to anyone. They should not be allowed to rent until it is up dated and add fire detectors to each room that actually works for saftey issues!!! I was not happy or impressed at all. Truly they shouldnt be able to rent until its fixed.

Deep cleaning of the room as I could see the wrappers under the bed and it was dirty

Amazing price and not too far out of the way from Temiskaming Shores. The room felt damp when we arrived (we put the AC on right away) and there was no breakfast like was posted in the hotel room. We arrived late at night and we were still able to check in and get settled for a reasonable night of sleep we all well needed.
