Bathroom quite shoddy and shower didn't work very well as leak in tap. Room clean enough and bed comfy. Lots of noise from early deliveries to Waitrose and because room was boiling with no air con, windows were open. Definitely not worth what we paid for it

Staff really friendly and helpful

The location of the hotel provides a huge opportunity, however it needs a proper makeover. I last stayed there about 10 years ago and I don’t think it has been decorated since, as looks exactly the same. It was clean though and bed was comfy. No aircon though, and everyone I know who has stayed there always comments on that. In summary, ok, but overpriced for what it provides and also needs investment to take advantage of the prime location.

Removed the notice informing booking early for Breakfast is cheaper. Also breakfast was just OK

The room was clean but very dated as in furniture is old the bed is so hard on a wooden base . Wear and tear eg stains wallpaper ripped . No air con was the main problem and having window open with a refuse station outside starting at 6am was an awful wake up call . The hot water was so hot as the cold didn’t come in on the shower nozzle . Said street parking but no parks anywhere near. Just not worth the £200 and not a four star hotel In any way

Clean room, plenty of space and bathroom was good size!!

Our room was not well ventilated, carpet and room smelled musty and needed a deep clean. Fan inoperable in the bathroom Room was directly across from garbage/bin storage area that was cleared out starting at 4am and multiple hours thereafter. There should be some buffering of sound from the hotel to that area as it happens daily

The stay was ok, the hotel rooms are starting to get a bit tired, no fridge, water pressure at the sink very slow, shower was good. You would expect better for the price.

Excellent stay

Very convenient car park above adjacent Waitrose, and across the road from Oran Mor where we were attending a wedding. We were allowed an early check in which was much appreciated and we had a refreshing drink from the open air bar downstairs. Clean room and a fan was provided as it was so warm. A very comfortable stay.

I've stayed before and would stay again. They have a little bit of a monopoly being one

The room was clean. Unfortunatelly, we got a room with no view whatsoever. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

The location of this hotel is perfect however it is very dated and in clear need of a refurbishment for the rooms. Our first room had a stale smell with wallpaper coming off/bashed furniture the walls however staff were helpful in moving us. The reception area is lovely and again staff were very helpful. The let down is the rooms & for some reason the air freshener they have throughout the halls is very overwhelming strong.

Very comfy bed and decent shower. Wifi worked well. Didn’t have breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is in the perfect location for the West End of Glasgow. Been staying in the Grosvenor on and off for 40 years, it’s time to update for the next 40.

Stayed here only 1 night. Nicer hotel. Clean and well kept. Parking was a little unusual. It was on top of the garage of an apartment store next door. Had to take an elevator down to the first floor and walk out to the street through the market. Not really such a big deal. Odd for a nice hotel. Had a nice corner room with a decent view. Looked down on a main street with a bar right across. Was still a little noisy at midnight and had to close the windows. Breakfast was in an attached restaurant. Decent English breakfast buffet. Not bad. Not great. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay here again.

WARNING: this hotel accepts dogs but is not dog friendly! I followed advice regarding access to certain areas with my dog. Despite this I was made to feel awkward and experienced rudeness from one particular staff member. I will not be visiting this hotel again.

Had a great one night stay. All staff were friendly and it’s in a great location. The only downside is the traffic and late night party goers noise level. Things didn’t really go quiet until about 4am so not much sleep.
