As a motorcycle rider of over 35 yrs going into a hotel can cause some anxiety wondering if there will be judgements. In our case there was no judgement and very welcoming staff. Myself and my riding buddy were left in awe of the simple yet thoughtful rag left on our bikes over night to dry our seats. Never have either of us experienced this kind of thoughtfulness. One of our bike locks broke and we were unable to remove it. The staff went over and above in helping us get it removed offering assistance, tools and ideas in our efforts to it removed. With their help we were successful and able to continue our journey. Thank you Microtel, thank you Jenn and the maintenance staff (apologies we didn’t get your name) and hotel management for your assistance and generosity! Any motorcycle rider reading this Microtel in Sault Saint Marie is worth the stay! With gratitude Tom

Room had a bad odor. Ibwas given a room on the first floor even though it wasn't busy.

Breakfast was good, rooms very clean, Pool was clean and overall hotel was very clean. Staff were great

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Breakfast on the Saturday included hash browns, omelettes and sausages.

Everything about our one night stay was excellent - my only complaint was that the buffet breakfast could have been hotter.

Everything was very good. The only suggestion I have is that if a group of students are staying on a school trip it would be helpful if guest’s were advised at check in. Especially for breakfast, so the children could have breakfast first.

The staff at the front desk was very friendly, both checking in and out. The room was clean and comfortable.

Plenty of parking, clean room, better than ok breakfast. Usual eggs/sausages/potato wedges from a grocery outlet. Edible and better than having to drive for the same.

Breakfast was OK Walls are thin, you can hear other guests.

Safety is apparently not a priority to the GM at this hotel. I had too separate issues with my door and the staff, Expedia and the GM of the hotel were dismissive of my concerns. No apology, no "thanks for letting us know, we will look into it", zero acknowledgment or concern for safety - the focus was only on their policy. Unreal. Will never stay at this hotel again or this chain for that matter. Surprised Expedia didn't do more either.

Breakfast was warm and of course guests dont know to close lids. Coffee plentiful, fruit juices and yogurts. Sausges were sufficient and water plentiful. Very kind employees at this location. Always smiling and helpful. Excellent job!
