My room was perfect for me. Clean and functional, the bed was comfortable. I would have liked a bit more light in the bathroom for makeup. I went to the front desk many times for information; everyone was smiling and helpful.

When we arrived the hotel was overbooked, so they asked if we would like to be upgraded to the “Dorian” side, same building. The Dorian is a “signature” series hotel which is themed around Oscar Wildes Dorian Gray. It has the craziest wallpaper, furniture, all kinds of little touches. We were there attending Chasing Summer and when we came back at night, still in mental party mode, the room was really a cool place to just wind down. Absolutely loved it! The staff were really helpful and positive. The first room they upgraded us to was a joined room with the one next door, and when we said we actually would like to not be joined to another room they had zero issues with that and moved us. I would happily, and will happily, stay there again if returning to Calgary in the future. The room was in the top five things we loved about our trip!

We recently stayed for two nights at the Courtyard Hotel in downtown Calgary while attending a family reunion at an apartment building nearby. We were very disappointed. Only one breakfast voucher was supplied to us instead of one for each of us. My husband had a tasty French toast breakfast but service was slow and the tables were not cleared. As people came into the breakfast area, they had to clear the tables themselves. There was no parking available when we arrived so we drove around the streets looking for a space and finally settled on a parking lot where we paid. The cost of parking was reasonable until Monday morning when it tripled so we had to leave at 6 am so as not to pay the increase. Our room was adequate but not special. The water tap vibrated when you turned it on; and the sink didn’t drain well. The bed was very soft so we didn’t sleep well. In addition, the corner of the bottom sheet came undone the first night and we couldn’t stretch it back in place so it was rumpled and uncomfortable. All in all, it was a very expensive and unsatisfactory stay and we would not recommend it to others.

Stayed here a few times and it’s an amazing place. Staff are super friendly and helpful, in a great location in downtown Calgary as well. Would recommend to anyone! I will be staying here anytime I return to Calgary.

Stay was as expected and to Marriott standards other than the long lines to check in with only member at the desk.

This hotel was in a great location for getting around the city. Perfect for a solo traveler. The rooms are spacious and clean, great showers. Breakfast was lovely, good choice of à la carte. Staff were friendly and helpful! Thanks for a great stay!
