Lobby and pool area is very pretty. Staff were mediocre. Room was clean but without character. Toilet ran constantlyI moved to another hotel in the area during me second week in Merida and for an extra $100 for the week, (Casa Balam) if you can afford it, it’s worth three times as much in room and hotel quality.

There wasn't one good thing I could say about this hotel. This may be good for a college student on a budget.Too many things to list in this limited space.No elevators.In room-No outlets.The door doesn't have any kind of lock(just a slam lock on the door knob)No toilet paper-had to walk back down to front desk because there was no phone to call them.AC barely worked.One outlet in the entire room-again,back to the front desk to get a mini extension cord.No wash cloths.Furniture old and broken.Shower wouldn't drain.Front door has a strip on the bottom that you have to wrestle with to open and clost.I checked out after the first night (of 3 that we were supposed to stay)The manager wouldn't come out to talk to us!!!No money back.Worst employee-Luisa-at the front desk. STAY AWAY!

Lovely stay! Nice room, clean, good bed, provided all basics, quiet, friendly staff! We will definitely stay again!

Great location! The tv never worked but it wasn’t a big deal since we didn’t stay in the room much other than to sleep. Great price and the parking lot they offer gets locked up at night so it feels very safe.

is an old hotel , seems well taking care off the beds are a bit hard but the location and the service was great. also the pool was clean and fun to swim

The hotel is a 2 stars hotel, no elevator also the pool it was dirty and at night to much noice.The locations is ok but not many amenities.

It is a hidden gem in the heart of Centro, Merida. The location is perfect—you can walk to everything. The price is affordable. Sophia and the other staff are excellent and friendly. However, two angels, Gabriel and Daniel, went above and beyond their jobs to make me feel comfortable and at home. I recommend Hotel Santa Maria to anyone visiting Merida. I look forward to staying there next time I'm in Merida

We had a great experience both my husband and I and we will definitely be recommending our friends and family to this hotel as well as going back ourselves thank you to Veronica for always being so friendly and helping us in any way possible.

Beautiful hotel, sparkling and clean, lovely pool and spacious common areas with comfortable sofas. Staff friendly, efficient and professional. Room and bathroom spotless, comfortable bed. Small breakfasr cafe handy. Amazing value. Well-located, great coffeeshop in next block (Barolo's).

This is a little gem of a hotel. It is clean and comfortable and has the best pillows I’ve ever slept on! The staff were fantastic, they had a little issue with laundry service one day but it was quickly rectified.Shout out to Misael! And the rest of the staff.

Staff helpful, cordial and friendly. Not adequate electrical outlets was the biggest issue. I had problems with tv and ac, but were fixed very quickly. Toilet had to be flushed 2-4 times, but never got fixed. But was ok. Limited parking by the rooms, but pakin about 2 blocks away was provided . Great value in terms of price and cleanliness and location. Sofie was extremely helpful.
