Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room and common areas could have been cleaner, but the hotel made up for it with a great breakfast and a small but well-equipped gym. Good value for a short stay.

Breakfast was good, buy the ginger beef are the bar had very little beef (which was burnt) and way too much store bought chili sauce.

Very clean comfortable hotel. Very close to Trans Canada Highway. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great one night stay on our road trip. The laundry room was much appreciated. Also the staff were helpful. Room around the back was quiet. Good breakfast and coffee for the road. Much more upkept than some "express" hotels we've stayed at.

Clean, convenient, quite great amenities (small but solid gym. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The gas station is walking distance. So is the pizza place next door which was delicious. I would stay here anytime

We had a great stay, hotel was clean with nice pool.

Easy access fro hwy, lobby and receptionist desk welcoming. Rooms spacious and clean. Sports channels available for Stanley cup finals. Breakfast . Nice variety. Food was hot, and replenished as needed. Definitely stay at Microtel hotels in the future. Ample parking.

No problems with staff, cleanliness and general upkeep of the hotel. Love the free breakfast, not gourmet but was ok. Love the free parking but I believe it should always be included in your hotel fee. The negative side for me is I don’t understand what has happened to good, old-fashioned friendly service. Every time we walked in or out of the hotel we were the ones saying hello or have a nice day to the staff. They were for the most part friendly back. No one asked where we were visiting from, if we needed assistance finding our way around or offered any points of interest to check out or restaurants to try. No extra effort to make us want to return to your hotel. Seemed like the staff was just filling time, collecting a pay check. In my business and job I want the customers to know that I truly appreciate them being there and the only reason I am successful and getting a paycheque is because of them. My final huge beef with the method of operations and way your hotel is conducting business is the way you charged my card full amounts of the stay as my stay progressed. I was told by the girl at the desk that that is the way all hotels are conducting business now. In her words “in case someone decided to take off without paying.” You have my credit card number and should be checking it for funds but in the past there was always a hold of 1 or 2 hundred dollars and then the final bill was collected at check out. It’s like being guilty until proven innocent instead of reverse

Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Ample parking. Clean rooms. They also put all four of our rooms side by side.

Great hotel, very clean, lovely staff. The bar had wonderful specials and offered a wine Wednesday for $6 for 6oz. Great place to stay if you're travelling out that way.
