The room itself was fine, but the staff's attitude was highly unprofessional. As an Asian traveler who doesn't speak Portuguese or Spanish, I have never had issues checking into other hotels—even when staff didn't speak English. However, the staff here simply repeated words I didn't understand in a very impolite manner. Not knowing English isn't the problem; the issue is their poor attitude.
At night, I tried to connect to the Wi-Fi but found no information in the room. Since the front desk was unstaffed at night, I had to contact customer service via WhatsApp. Shockingly, the WhatsApp number was only posted next to the main entrance outside, meaning I had to leave the building just to find it. Furthermore, when I asked about the laundry room location (which Expedia listed as available), the agent completely ignored my question. I still have no idea if this building even has one.
To make matters worse, the building requires a key chip to unlock the main door even when leaving. On my checkout day, while I was waiting for my Uber in the lobby, a staff member approached me, took my key and chip, and basically escorted me out. I was forced to wait for my Uber on the street with my large suitcase. This level of service is completely unacceptable.
