I really have nothing to say in reference to liking the property. I was very surprised. It was probably one of the worst hotels or in. I should say that I’ve ever been in. We booked because it was walking distance to a concert there. The lady on the front desk, Nora was very kind and helping us through the ordeal, but in regards to management the manager, Natasha was not accommodating when it came to refunding our booking. We walked into the hotel checked in, looked at our room. I was not impressed with the overall feeling of the environment that I was staying in for two nights that cost me almost $400 a night. It was absolutely ridiculous. I always look in the bed the toilet in the shower. The room was very small. The bed had hair in the sheet, the toilet was stained, and the shower had dripping down the side. The hallway had a foul smell that led even to the room. I was not happy at all. They did offer to change my sheet sheets, but the whole room should’ve been cleaned the sorrow overlooked before renting it out again. They only refunded us the one night out of two never had that happen before need to say I will never be there again. there would be no recommendation for me and I travel a bit to St. John’s.

Terrible property and conditions in the courtyard. Water damage clearly visible in room, chairs were ripped, floors had apparent water damage and were extremely dirty. If you sat on the edge of the bed it tipped forward. I had to leave and booked another room elsewhere. Do not recommend.

Not a bad place to stay in St. John's as long as you have a car. Place was nice and clean but needs updating in general. Room was a good size. Restaurant attached was really good and we enjoyed the included breakfast.

Great location for our weekend concert! Bed was comfy but we didn’t have a shower curtain. (Not a big deal but). At check in, was given coupons for the restaurant which was good!

The worst part was Crassus. On the first day, the air conditioning was blowing right above the door, and my cousins had to lean over me whenever we walked past. On the second day, it simply wasn’t working at all. A hotel that claims to be pet-friendly but charges $150 for the stay is a complete rip-off.

The room was dark and dingy. Black hairs in the bathrooom and in the bed sheets. Overall would not recommend.

Our stay was absolutely disgusting. I wouldn’t let a dog sleep in that room. My cousin and I paid $331 for one night, and all we got was a room with one double bed. When we arrived at Room 106, the weather seal was hanging off the entry door, leaving about a 2-inch gap. We could actually see people through the opening and hear their conversations as if they were standing in our room. It felt unsafe and offered virtually no privacy. The cleanliness was just as bad. There were cigarette burns in the curtains, black hair in the bathtub (which we refused to use), and black hairs stuck all over the wall in front of the toilet. It was obvious the room had not been cleaned properly before our arrival. I contacted the property to request some form of compensation or even a callback regarding our concerns, but no one ever responded. Yes, we understand the property is older, but that’s no excuse for poor cleanliness and lack of basic maintenance. For the price we paid, I expected a clean, safe, and well-maintained room. Instead, we were left extremely disappointed. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

The room was clean but room service was spotty. Some days it was serviced, others not. I had breakfast coupons, but wasn't able to use them most days because I had to be on my way before it opened at 8 am. The bathroom sink vanity had quite a lean to it. I was a little worried it was going to fall off the wall, but maybe that was unfounded. I appreciated having an iron and board in the room. That said, the ironing board cover is in need of replacement.

Other than the included breakfast next door (where the staff were great), there's not much good that I can say about my stay here. The shower/bathtub barely drained (so you were standing ankle deep in discarded water), the towels were ripped (not something I'd even offer to guest I didn't like in my own home), and numerous code compliance issues were noticed around the room I was in. The TV system was from the 2000s and the bed was a 5/10, at best. Sorry, but having stayed in a lot of lodging all over the world I know you can do a lot better for $250/night.
