Basic mid town hotel; standard breakfast but can have long line ups; narrow hallways; four elevator for 46 floors doesn’t work well during peak hours; clean; friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast. Just a few minutes from Penn Station and Times Square. Comfortable bed. The room has everything you need!

Will stay here agin!

Ashley the day shift receptionist during our staff is super awesome! Very helpful and considerate and really tried to make things happen for us esp we arrived from a red eye flight and was so early to check in! It was family trip with 3 rooms booked and was hard to out everybody in the same floor but her attitude and friendly face makes up for the craziness of being in NYC! She deserves a raise!!!

Walking distance to subway station, convenience store, restaurants, retailers. Helpful front desk staff. Nice breakfast selection. Room was compact and organized well with kitchenette comprised of microwave, mini fridge, utensils, plates, cups, etc. Room could use some more lighting. I would stay here again.

Overall, we had a good stay at Towneplace Suites. I’m not sure if this is more of an Expedia thing, but it was not easy to tell if the room had a full kitchen. When I called the hotel, they said some did and some didn’t. Rooms were small but clean. Typical for NYC, but I didn’t have a place to open my suitcase (closet barely the width of a suitcase). The free breakfast was a huge plus, and I loved all the options. The AC was noisy, which did wake me up at night. During later breakfast hours, elevators are impossible to get. Had to lug our suitcases down several flights of stairs to make sure we didn’t miss our ride. Other than that, location was great and staff was always helpful and nice.

We stayed on the second floor to have the benefit of an outdoor balcony. It was noisy and the in room air conditioning, essential during a really hot couple of days was very noisy too. When asked to be moved, this was not possible.

The room was small, but that's expected in NYC. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well and we were fully stocked with amenities. The hot stuff in the free breakfast was cold, but their bagels were delicious. It was also a free breakfast buffet and we went at a very busy time. My friend left her charger behind and they actually emailed us offering to mail it back!

Had to wait over 10 mins for an elevator on each occasion, long queues for mediocre breakfast, lack of space in rooms for cases or drawers for clothes. Cleaning cart permanently left blocking our exit from room along our narrow corridor. Room was clean and comfortable but experience was lacking overall.

Love the hotel. I just wish the rooms had a small couch ! Or option to add it if wanted

Tight rooms. Loved the Kitchenette. The included breakfast wasn’t great. Trying to serve too many people. All the hot food was basically cold. I only ate there the first morning. Elevators have a long wait. Very touristy but clean hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I would have given it excellent, if not for forcing us to take a disability room with ac not functioning properly, no tables, chairs, microwave, night stand and a giant glow in the dark exit sign glaring at you while youre in bed. They didnt change us the room that night, but the next morning shift staff did a great job to move us to a nice room that we actually booked for and it was a pleasent stay after that

Didnt like the extreme small size of washroom. There was no leg room when using the toilet and had to shimmy through to get to the shower. The pantry area was unnecessary as there is breakfast included already, and the fridge was not functioning. Other than that, the room was fine, bed was comfortable, and having 4 elevators was very convenient.

We liked the property. The staff was friendly. Everything was walkable distance. The room was a bit smaller than we thought but good for a couple. The elevator was super fast, but on the weekend the wait was almost 5 minutes or more. Breakfast was great and with good options. Definitely one hotel to go back to.

The property was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good. Our room was smaller than our last visit and sliding door to the bathroom was hard to move. Looks like the door required an inch off the bottom after new carpet installed.
