Very well located, clean appartment with all necessary ammenities. The seaview was awesome. The swimming pool is clean with enough sun umbrellas and sun beds. The personnel was very kind, highly appreciated their attitude. We recommend Playa del Carmen with very friendly staff and beach background

What a fantastic place to spend a vacation! Everything is exceptionally clean and tidy, the staff is very friendly, and our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and cozy. Some rooms had already had renovated bathrooms, but ours hadn't, but that wasn't a problem for us because it was in good condition and spotlessly clean. The hotel is located almost directly on the beach (not even a minute's walk) and also has its own parking lot; street parking wasn't a problem either. The surrounding area is quite quiet and safe; the only thing you can hear at night is the nearby train station (which is considered more of a plus when it comes to flexibility 😉). As for the food: it was truly incredible! Don't expect a resort-style buffet with average food. At SoleMare, you'll find authentic Italian cuisine with fresh, high-quality ingredients, cooked and seasoned to perfection without being overdone. There's a nice selection of appetizers, two or sometimes even three types of pasta (homemade!), and a choice of fish and meat for the main course—all rounded off with excellent desserts. The food tastes just like an Italian grandmother cooked it for her family—simply delicious. ❤️A big round of applause to Maurizio and his kitchen team! My husband and I had a wonderful holiday at the Hotel Solemare and I can't recommend it highly enough! The hotel is charming, welcoming, and above all, just steps from the sea, in a perfect strategic location for enjoying the beach! The services offered are excellent: from the variety of buffet meals, always excellent and plentiful, with organic and locally sourced products! I also particularly appreciated the owner's eco-friendly approach; I noticed there was waste sorting on all floors, which unfortunately isn't the case for everyone. But what really makes this hotel special is the staff. The receptionists are a breath of fresh air: always smiling, kind, and professional. The waiters are equally welcoming and attentive to our needs! Special mention goes to Maurizio, the delightful head waiter, who went out of his way to ensure I could enjoy everything, even with my food intolerances. I also thank the housekeeping staff: our room was spotless every single day. The meticulous and consistent work was truly appreciated, especially since we had a small dog with us, and we feared it would be a problem...but instead, the cleaning lady was impeccable! We often return to SoleMare because it's a beautiful location, close to the sea, with wonderful hospitality and, above all, excellent cuisine!
