Very good location and very close to the metro in the heart of Montreal. Very close to restaurants as well. Adam and the rest of the staff are very nice and friendly. He helped us carry our luggage to the vehicle. They have a very good coffee espresso.

The front desk manager is very nice. But he was not able to provide a solution as to where to park my car. So I ended up spending more money than I would have if I'd booked a bigger more luxurious hotel.

Like many old buildings in Montréal, its all stairs. Luckily the person working there helped with my luggage. What I got was small hotel room. Smaller than an interior stateroom on a cruise ship. Not much in amenities. Not sure if it was air conditioned. One plug available in the bedroom. Its basically just a bed to sleep in.

Clean, nice room but very small. Also a space under the door to the hall so anyone in the hall sounded like they were in the room.

Service was excellent. I felt safe and secure in the hotel and the neighborhood as a solo female traveler. Rooms in good condition and as expected.

I stayed there for 4 nights. Good quiet and clean room. No issues at all. Good value. Front staff were excellent and friendly. Adam was fantastic. Only downside is it's a 20 to 25 minute walk to the main downtown museums and sites

I recently stayed here twice, both times I had very good experiences. The best attribute is how helpful and kind the staff were. They were very eager to carry my luggage upstairs, offer directions, and give any other assistance. During my second stay, I was being a bit of a pain because a strong heatwave hit Montreal (85 F in early May), and the AC for the building hadn't been turned on yet, so it was hot inside. Unfortunately, the first day, the staff couldn't get out the maintenance person to turn on the AC for the building. Instead, they were very apologetic, offered an extremely helpful fan, and gave us lots of water bottles and free drinks from the cafe. The next day, they rushed the maintenance person out despite the fact that it was going to get colder again the day after that. The point is, the staff are extremely attentive and did their absolute best to help us in an unfortunate situation. Besides that, the hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and the area felt safe enough for young women like my friends and I. The hotel also has two security doors to get through late at night, adding extra piece of mind. Parking at a nearby garage was also possible, the receptionist will offer you directions on how to get in and get there.

The hotel itself is passable; the room was tiny but clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Amenities were minimalist, but adequate. The location is very close to a subway station, which is exceedingly convenient. The problem is that it is located in a neighborhood with questionable safety concerns: empty stores, broken bottles, traces of homelessness and drugs were clearly visible. It will be a tradeoff among cost, convenience, and personal risk management.

My stay here was fantastic! This location had a lot of attractions walkable near it, and the short walk to the Berri-UQAM station made all of Montreal easy to access. My room was clean, stylish, and comfortable. Most especially great though were the staff! It was my first time in Montreal and they went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and made me feel at home, particularly Adam. These are the huge benefits of a small hotel like Hotel Le Coach - the people!

The receptionist was incredible and kind, he made our stay so much better. This hotel covers the basic needs and is clean. The main thing I love is how convenient it is to everything, and it also has amazing restaurants.

Such a quaint and cozy place to stay while visiting Montreal. It was my first time visiting this city and while I was there, I received top-tier hospitality from Adam at the front desk. He carried my bags up the steep stairs to my room, was very polite and made sure that I felt safe during my stay. He gave wonderful recommendations and directions on where to eat and sight-see. My room had a balcony and windows that opened to let in fresh air. It was a sweet touch to the cozy space, helped me feel more connected to the area that I was in, hearing the traffic, the conversations being spoken in French and seeing the neighboring corner hotel on the other side of the street! It was lovely. The bed was soft, the water was hot, and I was walkable distance from practically everything. If I am ever visiting Montreal again, I would definitely come back!
