Great stay in a hotel with tons of character. Tastefully decorated, cosy spaces and central location in Portland. Lots of cafes, bakeries and restaurants nearby for meals, starting with your morning coffee. I will stay in a Kasa Living hotel anytime.

Loved it, great decor great location, felt safe inside, coffee options, great tv in the room, very close to Powell’s world of books, did not feel really safe the homeless community everywhere in the streets of Portland

Rooms are too small for four ppl n their luggage. The ac unit stopped working at one point in AM like was on a timer to encourage us to get out. The fridge did not work. But the beds were fine and the pillows weee awesome.

Our room was fantastic. My husband was in love with the record player. The room was huge and could've slept a lot of people. The location was super convenient too.

The vibe was WEIRD and unfriendly. Area was dirty and door was not always locked, people were able to follow me in and since there’s limited desk staff and they basically ignore guests, I felt it was unsafe, noisy and then unhealthy! No housekeeping despite a 7-day stay. Went without toilet paper and tissues as management texted that they don’t restock! Annoying texting back and forth to finally get toilet paper, a necessity not an amenity:They were ridiculously obtuse and rude. They never took responsibility for not providing an extra roll of toilet paper in the room, it was the worst hotel experience I have ever had! I have PTSD regarding toilet paper now! I stayed in the room as little as possible and would never stay there again. AWFUL staff and accommodation!

Absolutely loved our stay here! The room was immaculate and comfortable and was a great place to crash for the night. There's a parking garage close by, and lots of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. If homeless people make you uncomfortable, you might not enjoy walking around, but we've never encountered anyone threatening downtown. If I were to ding the property at all, it would be over the cleanliness of the elevator; however, even that wasn't bad. The little cafe that's attached has a good morning food selection (lots of pastries and breakfast sandwiches), and overall the place was pretty quiet. Since it is downtown, it's never completely still, but we've stayed in louder places.

Cool place- great communication about accommodations. Coffee from the attached shop was included. Soft music playing in the room was a nice touch. Off-site parking was the only drawback, but the directions to get to it were really good.

It was my first time in Portland and staying here made everything so easy for exploring and getting to all the places I wanted to see. While I was at first nervous about the virtual desk component, the staff at the front desk during the day were very helpful and the security staff at night made the stay feel very safe. It was a very relaxed feel. I stayed at this hotel for a week. The bed was very comfortable and the standard queen room had everything I needed. I particularly appreciated the steamer for my clothes and the little thoughtful things in the way the rooms are set up for simplicity but efficiency. I would stay here again.

The fact this is a historical building is just fascinating. What they have done to make cute lil yet still spacious areas is amazing. Everything was very clean. They did provide some ear plugs in case outside was too loud. We never had any issues and didn’t hear anything from outside or neighbors. Everyone was so kind. Between the text messages and website was very helpful and easy. I would say that the are was safe, did not have any feeling of uneasiness. I would highly recommend!!

Only suggestion would be doing something about r sheets/blankets! Being it’s. Pet friendly building- all the bedding smelled heavily like dog urine.

Where do I even start? I stayed in Kasa for 3 nights and 4 days and they were absolutely phenomenal to say the least. I rarely talked to the front desk agent as I’d spend most of my day visiting around the city or relaxing in my room . so I’d always be in contact with them thru text messages which was very helpful and fast . All my requests were answered and resolved quickly. Something you don’t see often even in certain Big hotels around the world. ( I know ) 1. Location wise, it is the best !!! It’s So convenient. The hotel is super clean as well. You have a variety of about 100 or more of restaurants , bars and coffee shops , food trucks , night clubs , libraries, vintage clothing stores and more . With all that mentioned you’d think that the location would be super noisy but you’d be wrong . It’s super quiet. It Almost felt like it’s in the middle of a desert. A steal for that price too . Kuddos to yall ! My favorite thing about the room is the radio 😂. Hands down. They’re Programmed to a specific channel that solely plays jazz/funk music. So good for relaxing . As most people do , I also have my least favorite thing about the room/hotel and its lights. It’s too damn dark . The lobby’s fine but the rooms light bulb should have been a lot brighter . I had to use my phone back light in order to pack my bag because I couldn’t see. Last but not least the staff ! The kindest and most welcoming.

I loved pretty much everything. It's absolutely perfect. I would love onsite parking, but the king room was everything I wanted. Clawfoot tub, sitting area, windows, really cool vibe.

Only stayed here for one night, so it was efficient. Shower was really weird -- had an exposed glass panel (no privacy) and there was no nearby light source. There's a window in the corner that gives light during the day, but since I shower at night, it was dark and frustrating.
