Our family had a fantastic stay at Castello City Hotel! Georgia’s warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome from the first moment. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and the location is perfect – just a short walk to the city center. Highly recommended!

I have never experienced maids Opening my door consistently while I am sleeping to check if I am in because they want to clean the room... There is no card to notify them if you don't like your room to be cleaned and the door lock didnt work. You would have to speak with reception where they were helpful. Privacy in a hotel has to be respected. For me this is a very big mistake but other than that is an okay hotel - breakfast is included and is a good effort, but the area is quite small and food is exposed - not covered - all the time

Cleanliness and politeness. They seem to have an obsession with cleanliness, mind that if you haven't. Excellent breakfast, matches the breakfast of more expensive hotels. 7 to 10 am. On Sundays, the breakfast floor may be full at 9:30 am, keep that in mind and try to wake up early on Sunday. Located at the center of Patras with the obvious pros and cons: easy access to everything but a little noisy. 7 minutes from the train and bus stations. 5 minutes to the central plaza with access to taxis and local bus stations. Opening the window will let some noise and the sea breeze in; on hot days the sea breeze has an unpleasant smell. Daikin air conditioning. Had to keep it on night mode at night to sleep without feeling cold. The bottled water in the (mostly empty) minibar is free. The place is definitely kid and disabled friendly. I didn't have to walk on a single stairstep or bump. Wi-Fi speed around 25 mpbs.
