LOVED this property and the staff!! Super code to the Main Street, walking distance to everything I needed. Only thing of note is that the bed was hard as a rock. Excellent stay!

We travelled to Calafate in a family plan for four adults, my two daughters over 40, and my closest friend - like sister- and me, over 70. We were celebrating the three of them BDs, past in February and April, and late May for one of them. The place was amazing, cute, very convenient location, one block apart of the Main avenue of this small town. Even if it was out of peak season, the guys from the front desk, were super attentive to all our questions, gave us excellent tips and recommendations for places to have lunch or dinner or things to do. They prepared for us the breakfast that we could take in a very cozy room with fire place, armchairs, small tables, books to read and with a wide window to the garden, great in fall colors. Thank you guys! Lionel y Franco! We know now where to go when we come back to Calafate!

Appearance was cute and quaint. Very convenient to downtown. Beds were VERY FIRM. Staff was awesome! Compared to camping it was great, but very basic.

Excepcional customer service and in a perfect location. Walking distance to everything. They also offer room service for dining, the food was tasty, as well as prepare lunch bags for your excursions. Highly recommend.

Average experience due to bugs in room/smell from heater? Breakfast is a very small selection and not great for preparing for all day excursions. Staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and helpful. Location is good

Attractive, spacious and comfortable room, beautiful interior garden, great staff. The only slight minus is breakfast, limited choice. However, there are excellent options within walking distance.

Such a lovely place and one block away from main avenue in Calafate. Really... you cant miss anything with this choice... and the staff is also the best!!!.

Cute, cozy, comfortable, quiet. A nice place to stay after a couple of days of air travel. Very convenient to "downtown" El Calafate for walking, snooping, and grabbing a bite to eat. The courtyard area was a nice place to hang out. Enjoyed the dining area too. Breakfast was basic and simple but good.

The hotel is very conveniently located one street away from the Main Street, and yet it is very quiet, which we enjoyed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner though, and the breakfast options more varied. Nonetheless it is a good place to stay. We had a rental car and could easily park it on the street for free, right in front of the hotel.

The staff is the best thing going here as is the location. My room had plaster coming off the wall and pretty cruddy grout in the bath. There is no AC, no tv, no safe, no kleenex which is a problem if you have allergies. One towel per person, modest breakfast (eggs are an upcharge) but a great dinner menu and service with live music. Again, great staff and location.

We were delighted with Kau Kaleshen. It's a sweet little haven in busy El Calafate. The courtyard is lovely, with large birds walking around and the world's best hotel cat lounging around. Our room was not large but was comfortable and perfect for our needs and there were other spaces for us to enjoy in the courtyard, out front, and in the community living area. Allie, Franco, and Lionel were so helpful in answering all our questions and helping us to arrange transportation, even on a busy holiday. I'm so pleased to leave a 5-star review. We look forward to returning some day!

Very coze. The staff attention is plus. Clean and comfortable. The location is excellent. I am grateful and I recommend Kau Kaleshen I was there in a group of 6 family members. On December 2024.

A very nice property. Basic, not luxurious, but clean and in a great location. Simple breakfast of breads, cheese, cereal. Leonel at the front desk was wonderful in offering help and suggestions.

This was the perfect property to stay at during our visit to El Calafate. One block off the main road, so it is easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Loved how cozy this hotel was and the restaurant is excellent! Would stay here again.
