Location is quite strategic. Located just a minute walk from a mall, and the bus stop is about 3 minutes away (best hope it's not raining). Another plaza is about 400m away (around 5 minutes walk), as well as a famous hawker street another 100m from the plaza. Stayed for 4 nights, because been wanting to try the place. Once reserved, contact the WA number. They will give you instructions prior to your check-in. Require passcode to enter the premise and another one to enter the building, so it's secure. It could be a bit noisy if you're staying on the Ground floor since there are rooms close to it. Old building and old lift, so it's a given the latter is quite small. There's a staircase in the back if you want faster access. Key boxes are located next to the lift so you couldn't possibly miss them. Communal kitchen and dining area is located near the stairs. Water dispenser as well as tea and coffee are provided free of charge (as long as you keep the place clean). You can also cook in the kitchen and use the kitchenware, but clean up after yourselves. There is also a washing machine and ironing board that you could use, but you need to do them yourselves. There is no room service since this is a guest house; There are staff working during the morning and afternoon, but they only clean the rooms that have been checked out. We were early to check-in but luckily, the staff were kind enough to put our luggage inside once they're done while we went out. Booked a room for 3 people with private bathroom. Room was on 1st floor, 1F. It's spacious because it's in the corner. The beds are okay and light, so you can move them around to suit your taste (but try to move them back before you check-out). Room's big enough that they even out 3 chairs, 2 small tables, and 1 big table, and even a desk lamp. That's how you know it's large! There's also a small balcony. There are 4 universal sockets place in the room, and you can adjust the small tables so you can place your charging devices near it. AC can be quite cold during the night, so don't set them too cold. Even the fan is cold enough. Bathroom is also quite large, and they provided body wash and shampoo as well as toilet paper. Three fresh towels were also provided, but you'll have to use them sparingly since they don't do room service. Now, while the room's fine and all, there are some downsides to it. One of the lights are out, so it could be a bit dark without turning on the desk lamp. There aren't enough hangers for a room for 3 people, so we had to make do. There's not even a single hook in bathroom, so you have to hang your stuff outside (next to the bathroom door). Speaking of, the bathroom door could be quite a pain to use and it can be loud when you move it wrong. The toilet is a bit small so be warned. There is also some spiderwebs above the toilet, which I only noticed on my last day (because of my poor eyesight). Bidet's holder is broken so it's left to hang on the handrail. Shower hose is not long, and it can't be adjusted to constant hotness. All in all, this place is quite good for the budget. It's close to some hospitals (you should be able to get the minimum fare for Grab), and there are 2 shopping malls within walking distance. Finding food is also not bad since there are two hawker foods near it. Just be polite and respect the other guests space and privacy.
