Unfortunately, Almas Hotel did not work out for us. Upon arrival, the hotel appeared clean. However, couple of hours into our stay, the first cockroach made its way across the floor. We would have liked to stow away, or at least elevate our bags, but the room was too small to properly store two backpacks and a small luggage. And you could hear people talk in adjacent rooms and hallway, at times talking on the phone during the night. And when asked about TM30 form we needed to extent our visa, they came up with all possible excuses why they could not provide one. The kicker came at check out, when they tried to extort 500 bath from us for a food stain we left on one of the small hand towels. Not coming back.
