All good! I liked the nostalgia of the deco. That and the attention paid to the needs of the visitor was very loving! The standard was a little worn.

Needed a quick stay while I was in LA for a friend's Bday. Was a bit confused how to get in but once I did it was a nice surprise. Felt safe. Bathroom was clean. No one was loud.

Really unique vibe and a good price if youre not doing a long stay. The shared living space will be a turn off for some, as will the size of the rooms. Staff was very easy to contact when needed, despite not being on site. I can imagine this place being an amazing stay with the right group of people renting out a number of rooms, but as a lone traveler, it wasnt quite what I was looking for. Still, not a bad spot.

Bed bugs, no real trash can for the kitchen and broken shower head. Location is amazing and that is why we picked it, and the price is great, but didn't realize it would be so poorly maintained.

Upon walking in I had NO CLUE what was awaiting me inside!!! It was the most unique room I've ever booked. There wasn't enough time to see all the details. I wish I lived there!! The only weird part is being so quiet after 10pm. But it was understandable!

The place was very clean, comfortable, and luckily quiet. I hardly saw anyone there despite it being a house with common shared space. The location is great, walking distance to Dinosaur Coffee, Vons grocery store, and Handel’s ice cream. Best of all is that it is reasonably priced. I would surely stay there again at that rate.

We lucked out and got the tower room with the octagon windows overlooking LA and a jacuzzi! If there was anyone staying below us, we didn’t know it. We were supposed to be sharing the middle floor kitchen and bathroom but never heard or ran into anyone else. The decor was just as great as the photos and the spiral staircase unforgettable! We felt very safe as there’s 3 locked doors between you and the outside. The only thing that made me nervous was you get only one set of 3 keys so if you lose them there is no one on site to help you but luckily I had them in my pants pocket all night and never lost them. Best romantic hostel ever!

Great hotel for cheap, no-frills accommodations. Super clean and exactly what I needed for one night's stay. There is no concierge but the check-in instructions were super easy. There's also free parking on surrounding side streets if you can find a spot. Close to some great spots to eat/drink/shop in LA. Would definitely return.

Great location for a great price in a clean and cute place. However, paper thin walls made it uncomfortable.

Beautiful place. Easy check/in check/out process. Great for a short stay, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very clean. I’d suggest adding a few full length mirrors to either the bathroom or the rooms, I was getting ready for an event and this was the only thing that could have made it better. But wonderful property, will definitely return!

Good stay, comfortable bed in the room with a full sized mattress and shared kitchen / bathrooms. Housekeepers do a good job of cleaning up but the cleanliness of shared spaces is also dependent on the other guests. My bf and I were the only ones there for most of our stay, but we noticed a difference on our checkout date when other guests arrived. You are expected to do your own dishes and clean up after yourself in the shared kitchen / bathrooms (there were 2 full bathrooms with showers). Keurig coffee and different kinds of black tea were free, along w sugar and honey. Water machine, microwave, and toaster were modern. I wish I brought sticky notes and a pen to label food in the fridge, which is required. The free toothbrushes + paste were all the same color and came in non-resealable plastic packaging. If I stayed again I would probably bring my own ziplocs to store the toothbrushes and label them. If you end up with the nautical themed room by the front entrance, speech can be heard from outside the house. Street noise was not disturbing for us, the street is not traffic heavy . The curtains were not blackout, so my bf and I were a little worried about passers-by being able to see in the window when lights were on at night. The decor in common areas was as advertised. There is a Roku smart TV (bring your own streaming passwords). The surrounding area is not especially touristy, but we fed ourselves at a Vons that was walking distance.

Hotel was good but location was alright. Parking at the hospital(which was recommended by hotel) was expensive ($15 for anything above 3 hours)

Was great overall. Rooms got hot in morning so hard sleeping in. Was better sleeping with windows open but you had more street noise I got bitten 2 of 3 nights. Hopefully not bed bugs - hard to tell with black sheets. Otherwise I liked it and will use again
