I called and texted due to not arriving by 7 PM and staff was unavailable and left key in lock box for check in. Beds were small and on wheels and not attached to headboard. Only half a roll of toilet paper. No staff during check out. Saw no staff during stay only text. TV was the size of my computer. No A/C and heat wouldn’t shut off. Screen for balcony was detached and torn and rusted. Outside area was smaller than pictured and overgrown going down to water. Just not at all as described. I would compare it to staying at a hotel 6. No ice machine working. No stopper for the bathtub. Just be truthful about the condition of your property and improve your customer service. I would not recommend or stay again. I had it set up to pay upon check in and they charged my room upon leaving my key in the lockbox for pickup and didn’t even tell me. They made it feel like being there was an inconvenience to them.

comfy bed but no additional blanket. We only found one eatery, Upstairs Bar & Grill. Friendly and helpful wait staff. Nice outdoor eating area, but smokers ruined the fresh air. Beautiful view from balcony but a struggle with screen door. This place needs a good handyman’s services!

Ah where to start…we received confirmation for a 2-bedroom non-smoking cabin with a beautiful wooden countertop. What we received was a two bedroom, unclean motel room. The rooms smelled horribly of smoke and mold. The towels and sheets were stained, mouse droppings on the stove, dirty sticky table, creaky beds, lights flickering or not working, and black mildew in the bathroom. It was truly unbelievable, especially for the amount we paid. The one perk is the beach area but we probably would have been more comfortable sleeping on the actual beach itself. If there was another accommodation available within a 2 hour radius we would have left but with young kids, we had to rough it out for the night. Then we woke up to someone leaving their half full beer can outside our door…

Poor security, back door didn’t lock, very thin walls and could hear people in room next door at a conversation level, broken ice machine, coffee pot not cleaned, stained sheets, dirty walls, deteriorated floor, outlet blew while trying to dry my hair so no bathroom lights.

Check in was easy and smooth, however whenever we got into our room the smell of wet dog was overwhelming. We told the owner about the smell and they weren't overly bothered about trying to help which was annoying. We booked an apartment with the hope to use it for prepping some food, however the facilities were extremely poor - no kettle, a coffee machine but no coffee provided only coffee bags which were no use without a kettle, for a couple there was one cup in the cupboard. Very unimpressed and we would not recommend staying here as it was over priced for what you got.

The best part about this hotel is the view and beach access. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back.

Poor Internet connection, the place is a dump, it is dirty, the only good thing is that it is right on the beach.

I WOULD AVOID THIS PLACE, EXPENSIVE RIP OFF! The moment we walked into our room we were overwhelmed by the smell of Pine-Sol. Had to have the windows open all night to avoid the overwhelming smell. We quickly realized it was to try and cover the smell of wet dog. The couch was a cheap fold out. When you sat on it, the smell of wet animal and dog hair flew up. The shower curtain had a used washcloth folded up in it. When we laid on the bed, it fell apart. Too late to get service. We were told we would receive a refund; it is now one month later and NOTHING!! Beautiful spot of Coastline. Gross motel!

The view of the bay was the only thing nice about our stay. From the pictures on line it all looks decent and upgraded. But I guess our room was the only one that wasn’t upgraded but paid the full amount. Messaged the hotel with pictures of our room and our concerns and they never reached out.

You're paying for location only. Great view and access to beach, but the cost to stay is outrageous considering no air conditioning and an old establishment. Our particular space had a bathroom so tiny, my knees touched the door when I sat on the toilet. (I'm only 5' 8.). The stairs to the bedroom are old style and very steep; almost like climbing a ladder. The mattress was mushy and uncomfortable. No A/C and the window screens were torn with big holes. The pictures look nice but it's really tired looking in person.

Nice little place. Alittle dated and could use alittle tlc but has amazing view, a nice community area with gas fire pit, and the beach is just at the bottom of the stairs maybe a 3minute walk/hike.

Netarts is great. The staff was fine. The room we were in room 7 was absolutely unsafe. Black mold in the bathroom, by the front door, under the fridge above the stove. Clearly there was water damage as the bottoms of the end tables were swollen and moldy. Very musty. I mean it was bad and my wife is pregnant. We checked in and checked out really fast. Put a huge bummer on our trip for our family. We plan to fight for our money back as I will post photos of the concerns. We didn’t bother try to move rooms as we were just not willing to stay there at all.

Completely deceptive pictures. A ramshackle, cobbled together "building ". The room we were supposed to be in was the size of a closet. Almost no parking but extremely overpriced to make up for everything it lacks. We chose not to stay and the staff had pretty much no sympathy. When I pointed out that the pictures in no way reflected the room we were forced to pay for even though we didn't use it she said, "Oh, that's one of our best rooms. " Do not waste your time or money.

Love the location in Netarts and so close to Oceanside. The room is dated but was fine and priced accordingly for the area. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Very close to small grocery store which had everything we needed. Wonderful stay!
