Stayed 1 night after attending concert at the open air theatre. Excellent location on a quiet road, 5 mins walk from the station and the beach. Very generous sized bedroom, excellent breakfast, very welcoming and helpful staff, especially the lady on Reception, really cheerful and full of local advice, sorry didntnget your name, Regret not booking for longer.

I genuinely think this hotel is just basic. For the price you would expect more better looking interior, freshness/cleanliness or service. It’s got no parking on site contrary to what they put up except street parking. The stench of old rug mixed with moisture welcomes you upon entrance, hallway small. Staff just about okay, breakfast; basic stuff you can get from any bnb setting. The only positive was the size of the room. Again we chose that cos of our family size. Sorry, it’s a no from me. Either bring down the price to match what you are offering or upgrade yourself!

Loved this Hotel! The staff were all charming. Location is very attractive. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great to be able to buy residents parking ticket, as parking in Scarborough can be tricky and it meant we could park with view of our car from our room. Breakfast can be highly recommended. Excellent choice cooked to order. Great choice of fruit juices, buffet selection etc. Would very happily return!

We had a nice sized bedroom (double) with a bath & over tub shower that ran nice & hot. The bed was comfortable

Me and my son came for a little break room was lovely very clean and spacious the staff was really friendly could not do enough for lovely food very approachable and it is in a good location near railway station and shop and beach

The Crescent Hotel is on the Georgian crescent overlooking the park and is a perfect location for going to the Stephen Joseph Theatre. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Our only small quibble is that there is Open Mic night on Fridays and we were right above the bar, so we could hear the bass playing, but it wasn't too bad as we were on the third floor. Otherwise, it was quiet and very convenient and a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good with a nice range of choices. We will definitely stay again when we go to the theatre in Scarborough.

This hotel was very convenient for the weekend while I was at Oliver's Mount watching the racing. Prices were reasonable. My room was very clean. There is only one lift in this hotel. Breakfast was amazing every morning. Staff customer service skills were Great . This hotel does have a resturant for evening meals. They also have a bar. This hotel is only a 10 minutes walk from the train station. This hotel is only a 5 minute walk into the town centre. This hotel is family - friendly. I would stop at this hotel again in the future

Breakfast was freshly cooked and I was very happy to be able to order how I would like an egg cooked. Staff were very friendly.

What a lovely hotel. We stayed in a different one around the corner the night before and what a difference our stay here was. Staff friendly, accomodation and nothing was too much trouble! The food was beautifully cooked! Homemade nom nom. We were made to feel welcome and will be going back with our little boy for sure! Thank you, your staff are a credit.

Annual trip to Scarborough for the cricket The Crescent is the best hotel I have found. I especially like the new menu in the lounge (along with the Scarborough Fair beer at 6%) I think they need to think about global warming (who would have thought that you might need air conditioning in Scarborough?). Some fans in the rooms might be an idea.

This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again
