The reception staff are great, friendly and efficient. The communal spaces are tired and need decorating or at least a deep clean. Our room was lovely and big and relatively newly renovated, again attention to detail on repairs/deep cleaning is needed. Great location.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable, right in the city center. While there’s no parking, I expected this and rented a spot nearby. I traveled with my dog and enjoyed walking him in nearby garden areas. Breakfast was lovely, with a beautiful setting and friendly staff. The cleaning staff were also great—happy to clean while I walked my dog. However, our stay wasn’t perfect. A guest next door flooded their room, and we were woken early to check ours. While I understand the situation, I was disappointed by the lack of empathy from the staff. Despite the significant disruption—especially with our dog in the room—we were not offered any alternative arrangements, just a few towels placed down. The constant coming and going of police, maintenance, and cleaning staff made it even more stressful. Another issue arose when I asked reception to notify cleaning staff to tidy our room while I was out. Two hours later, they hadn’t been informed, and reception unfairly blamed the cleaners. The room was very small for the price, and the bed wasn’t up to four-star standards. Despite these issues, the exceptional location made up for a lot.

Fantastic property which looks brand newly renovated. Unfortunately there is a huge renovation project next door which means constant noise during the day but once this is sorted the location is ideal in the centre of a beautiful small city

Had a lovely stay, really helpful reception on arrival, beautiful room and immaculate. Couldn’t fault. Would definitely recommend. Great location if you want to be in and amongst city life and have everything on your doorstep.

The hotel was nice . Lovely decor . The bed looked great but unfortunately it was not that comfortable. Great location for shops & restaurants.

I liked the hotel, fantastic old building with a lot of character. Rooms are basic but it was very quiet and I had a great sleep. The staff were very polite and helpful.

Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Stanza ampia, pulita, ristrutturata finemente e dotata di ogni comfort. Prodotti da bagno di qualità. Location fantastica, nel cuore della città, a due passi dal mercato.

Wir bekamen ein Zimmer direkt am Fahrstuhl zugewiesen, was leider sehr hellhörig war. Zudem hatten wir leider auch ein Ameisenproblem, diese waren überall im Bad und nach kürzester Zeit auch auf unseren Sachen. Auf unsere Bitte dem nachzugehen, wurde wir auf die Reinigung vertröstet. Die erst mehrere Stunden später erfolgte. Die ältere Rezeptionistin war darüber hinaus sehr unfreundlich und bügelte unsere Beschwerden kurzerhand ab. Als sie draußen vom Rauchen kam, warf sie ihre Zigarette auch einfach auf die Straße - das ist kein Umweltbewusstsein!

El hotel súper bonito ! Solo que el trato de una señora mayor en la recepción fue grosero y con poco sentido de servicio! Creo que gente como ella no debería de participar en un hotel tan bonito porque su actitud no es de servicio y hace que la experiencia en su hotel no sea agradable…

Hotel céntrico y con encanto en edificio modernista preciosamente reformado, respetando la estructura y belleza de los detalles antiguos. El personal muy amable y la habitación cómoda y limpia.

Vert friendly staff, helt with differens things and breakfast was very nice. Will stay there next time I am in Santander again.

Todo estuvo muy bien, el hotel tiene una buena ubicación, las instalaciones están en buen estado, las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y en buenas condiciones. El personal muy amable. El buffet de desayuno bastante Variado. Un detalle que me gustó mucho es que las habitaciones tienen una máquina de café con Varias cápsulas de cortesía. Realmente recomendable!!

Très bel établissement, parfaitement placé avec un parking juste à côté. Petit déjeuner très varié. Personnel très sympathique.
