This place has a lot of charm. It is about a 20 min walk to the nearest metro station and very close to the Holy Trinity Cathedral as well as a pretty decent grocery/convenience store, as well as an amazing home cooked Georgian restaurant. We did find most of our tours started on the other side of the river so something to be aware of if you have to travel to meet up with your tour groups and are not getting picked up. We stayed in the apart-hotel and I think despite some miscommunications and an issue with the booking (due to a rebooking issue on my end, not due to the hotel) the visit was overall a positive one. The apart-hotel greeted us with fresh slippers, waters, and wine. The private bedrooms were quite small but there was a very spacious lounge as well as lobby, kitchen, and cafe area. There is a lovely cat that roams freely around so be careful if you have animal allergies. Eliana and Igor were very helpful

Elia is an amazing host and the hostel is so convenient. It’s walking distance to a number of restaurants, shops and the cathedral. It’s also a fairly quick walk to old town and maybe 30 minutes to Liberty Square. Elia can give you lots of options for food, sites or whatever you’re into. The hostel itself is charming. Lots of communal spaces to meet and hang with other guests. I booked a private room which was very nice. There’s a fridge in the room and a/c so you can calibrate everything to your liking. Just a heads up that you can hear if people are chatting on the patio but given it’s a hostel hopefully you’re hanging with them! If not, Elia does a great job of making sure the noise is kept to a decent degree and doesn’t go super late.

Design and condition of this hostel, run by Russians, is really nice, rather hotel than hostel level. BUT... There was a major problem with check in, staff insisted that they couldn't see our reseration, what was fully prepaid. After a one hour struggle and Hotels.com intervention we finally checked in. The plumbing in two bathrooms was clogged, sewage flowed out. There was a public holiday so they were not able to fix it immediately, what was understandable. We were shown a alternative WC (unfortunately not private) but the owner refused to offer us alterantive shower what was disappointing. So we had to wade in the sewage. We did not feel welcome there

Muito bom, quem tiver dúvidas sobre o Hostel vá e experimente, me trataram como se estivesse na minha casa, tem como comer por perto, o casal dono conversa e oferece todo tipo de apoio, só tenho a agradecer.
