Nice warm and charmg hotel. Classic hotel but still maintened will Very good location to stay if you want to enjoy the downtown and whale watching tours. Restaurant in the hotel was great. Only complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable.

Hotel location was superb, staff was extremely helpful, check-in was a breeze, bed was really comfortable & the kitchenette with a small refrigerator came in very handy. The hotel is historic with various period furniture pieces in every room (our queen bed was most impressive) but while the lobby has been nicely updated, the carpeting on the staircase & in the hallways definitely needs upgrading. Sadly, fruit flies swarmed our glasses of red wine for 2 nights in succession which didn't add to our stay. Parking can be at a premium when the hotel is fully booked so some customers have to park on the street, which isn't ideal. The Kennedy House seems a bit tired (the grout around the tub in our room could use replacing) but overall it is a good hotel & we would return.

The shower does not have consistent water temperature.. it is either boiling hot or freezing cold. The wifi cable television cuts in and out constantly. The air conditioner was plugged into a power bar then a wall socket...pretty sure this is fire waiting to happen.

Glad it was only one night. We had probably the nicest room in the hotel. There’s no regulator on the hot water. I was showering and someone must have either flushed a toilet or turned on the cold water and I was scalded. Very upsetting and stressful end to my day. The blow dryer was from the 1980’s. Took forever to dry my hair. Our balcony room had a balcony you could only access from the hall corridor. I went to use it and some random couple was on it and I was left to ask them to leave. They were somewhat offended they had to. Completely awkward. There was never once someone at the reception desk our entire stay. A wait staff from the restaurant gave us our room key and took payment. For the price it was a complete bust and disappointment. Do not recommend this place

Le personnel est d’une gentillesse remarquable, mais cette chambre est dans une bâtisse vraiment vieille. Les planchers sont très croches. Tout penche d’un côté et de l’autre! Il n’y a pas de déjeuner.

Nice bedroom, old character with modern touches. The only negative was the information to get to a parking garage was very difficult to follow with the map they handed us which resulted in my husband driving around for over 30 minutes when the underground ( not mentioned) parking garage was just 1 block away. We loved St Andrew’s!

Interesting old inn, right by the waterfront. Pleasant and helpful staff, in room coffee was bleh and no breakfast offered. Room was quaint and comfortable, but no outlets for device charging.

The Kennedy House was beautifully charming and clean with very friendly staff! We only spent one night here. Due to our late arrival time, there were no early breakfast openings left for their cook to order breakfasts. Although we were disappointed to hear this, staff prepared us a to go breakfast for our morning departure.

The room was clean, well equipped and spacious. This hotel, although a beautiful historic property with great architecture, is perfectly located at mid town area and provides convenient easy/free parking. Check-in/out was quick and super easy. There is in hotel dining with a great pub and related atmosphere in-house. All in all a good value hotel with all the right stuff.

Very cool place to stay in the lovely town of St Andrews. The building is a century building but everything was clean and you can’t beat the location. Restaurant downstairs was very lively with some live music and great drinks.

L'emplacement est très bien, au coeur de la rue principale. La chambre est très petite, et nous avons peu dormi car le matelas est très très mou (usé). Difficile de prende une doiche car il n'y a pas de pression d'eau.

Somewhat shabby and less than well-maintained, the Kennedy House must have seen better days. Staff were young and inexperienced. The stairs and corridor smelled of mildew and worse, not terribly, but enough that it was impossible to miss. My room was unimpressive, with a cheap vinyl floor throughout, incomplete cosmetic repairs, and cheap fixtures. The mattress was of that "marshmallow" foam that makes you feel stuck in mud when you roll over. But hey, at least the air conditioner (a window unit) worked, and the location was super.

Our 2nd stay here in 2 years! 😊 We love this hotel, its history, proximity to all activities and sights in the area. We stayed 3 nights and that wasn't long enough!😀 The on site restaurant with outside terrace is wonderful. Staff amazing as well. Bed comfortable. Parking available too! Recommend!
