Parking available at the hotel - for a fee - made hotel quite convenient. Late night access to lounge and bar a plus. Staff friendly and helpful.

Amazing staff, Richard was amazing and was able to assist me with all my needs. Tasty breakfast and super comfortable beds.

We stayed for 2 nights for Happy Place Festival (about 15 minute walk). It was very hot weather so it was hard for the hotel to stay cool. The reception area was cool but the rooms struggle to keep to a cool temperature. The guy on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I think a biscuit with the tea and coffee in the rooms would of been a nice touch. It was a pleasant stay and we would stay again.

Had a lovely stay while visiting Richmond and Wimbledon, staff friendly and super helpful. Only minor thing were the rooms were small however that is probably because of the period property. We would definitely stay again.

Outstanding Boutique Hotel in Richmond. Facilities were excellent, just very very nice. This is truly a boutique hotel... very nice public areas, fine rooms. Classic rooms are slightly tight, though certain layouts are much more workable/ comfortable than others. Bathrooms good sized. All Staff just outstanding....similar to a Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons, Park Lane Hilton or JW Marriott ... professional, courteous, highly competent, and looking to measurably be helpful .... they take the extra effort to ensure the guest feels welcome at a 'home away from home.' Highly recommend to family and friends, will return when next in Richmond.

So glad I chose this hotel when attending the tennis at Wimbledon. The staff were so helpful, the young lady who checked us in could not have done more to make us comfortable and ensure we got to the tennis on time, The barman was charming along with the breakfast staff. Rooms while compact have everything you need. Thank you everyone for a perfect stay.

Room had everything it needed for a nights stay. Very clean room, comfy bed and coffee facilities.

The Selwyn was a wonderful hotel and our stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has a lift, so no stairs needed to carry your cases up. They had air conditioning which in the London heat was heaven. The hotel is immaculately clean inside and out. We drove to the hotel directly from the airport and after checking in, we enjoyed a nice Pimms from their bar outside on their patio. The hotel is 2 mins walking to the town with lots of shops, restaurants and the river. We drove to Kew Gardens which was 10 mins by car. Lovely hotel and we would definitely stay again! Breakfast was delicious!

Hotel was immaculate and staff were really helpful. I'd recommend getting one of the bigger rooms if there are 2 of you, as the cabin rooms are on the small side for 2 people, but everything else was great, bed and pillows were really comfortable so we had a good night's sleep, we would definitely return.

Good stop for Richmond - pretty well located and decent rooms.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Parking was not an issue for us, on the road was free from 6.30pm. Staff were very attentive but we were only staying for one night and didnt get a chance to it to try the hotel bar. Top tip, get a taxi and go for a meal at Petersham Nurseries!

The Selwyn staff were very kind and generous in helping us to plan our stay in Richmond, UK. We really enjoyed the area, the breakfast was excellent, and the accommodations were perfect. Lots of excellent places to eat and discover in the Richmond area.

Overall excellent. Have a problem with disappearing shower bathmats.

Beautiful hotel, rooms are small but well designed and very clean. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We were there during the heatwave and the aircon was very much appreciated. The location is perfect for walking around and exploring Richmond, and close to the tube for getting into central London. Would definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Could not fault this place. Staff were brilliant, excellent breakfast, fully air conditioned throughout, great location 5mins walk from the station and Richmond town centre, and despite being on the small side, the room had everything you needed including a really comfy bed, a large tv, a great shower, and a coffee machine.

Beautiful property in an awesome location! The a/c was perfect during the heat wave we arrived during. The amenities in the room were great, and everything was clean and updated. The only surprise was that the room was definitely smaller than we were expecting, but we made it work.
