Luckily, I got a room where the lights outside the private pool area weren't on so I couldn't hang out outside with good lighting. I initially complained and said they would try to fix it but I never heard back. I was quite disappointed, coming all the way from Bandung and not satisfied.

If you're looking for a peaceful little hideaway not too far from the city, Ubu Villa Coconut is a gem! Located just 90 meters from Filosofi Kopi (yes, coffee lovers, rejoice ☕️), and around 20-30 minutes to the city center, it’s the perfect balance between convenience and serenity. The villa is tucked behind a lush rice field, so instead of traffic noise, you’ll wake up to birds chirping, cicadas singing, and maybe even spot a few cute little frogs or other tiny rice field creatures hanging out nearby. The villa is quite clean, from the bedroom to the bathroom, everything feels fresh and well-kept. The room was cozy. The AC gets chilly fast (big win for those hot Jogja days), the bed was comfy, and the overall vibe is relaxing. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or even a quiet weekend with friends. Service & Facilities somewhat Top-notch. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and the villa comes with great little perks like a flamingo floatie, amenities, and even Netflix (perfect for cozy nights in). Wifi was solid too, in case you need to sneak in some work (or just binge your favorite series). Bonus points: Lovely space for relaxing while stare at the rice field, easy parking if you're driving, delightful resto with live music on weekend and cute little decor details that make it feel homey. The only downside? The private pool. While it looks lovely, there’s just a bit too much chlorine. My hair went all crunchy after a dip, and I could still smell the chlorine even after showering. So maybe it's better for just a quick splash instead of a long soak. Ubu Villa Coconut is a sweet little sanctuary with just the right mix of comfort, nature, and convenience. Great for those who want to unplug without going completely off-grid. Just maybe skip the deep dive in the pool or bring a swim cap :D

Villanya bagus aesthetic banget cocok buat honeymoon.

Overall it's good, it's just that the door isn't really private, can't close everything. So people passing by or peeking can really. Then the shower water is really small. The jakuzi doesn't work. Why is there a pool light, sis, it's just dead, she said. The standard for a villa should be 4 pillows, only 2, but it's okay, it's still chills and happy, thx u.
