Lovely stay. I was on the first floor and I will say you can hear basically every sound in the lobby, but as it is a self service hotel there is not a ton of activity to be heard. Clean, nice rooms. Easy access, lovely building. Very responsive customer service via text message.

Great location, for walks in the park and shopping.

The name hotel manoir is misleading. This is not a hotel. Our room was clean but the locks were not functioning and since it is an unmanaged hotel it was challenging to access. Also with a hotel you expect certain amenities like basics which this place did not supply.

We stayed 7 nights but the room wasn’t made over once. Had to keep emptying the small garbage bin myself. Limited hanging space for clothes- just 3 hooks and 3 hangers but nowhere for hangers other than on hooks. No iron in room. Only French language channels on TV , tried to load English channels but pass code protected. Reception not manned so had to telephone for help as entry code sent before arrival didn’t work- met other guests with same problem. 3 days before my trip I emailed the manager to ask whether I could leave luggage at hotel before check- in, as my flight arrived at 9am, but didn’t receive a response - check-in was at 4pm.

When we arrived, the code for the entrance et our room didn’t work. We had to call and text the staff so we had to wait maybe 20 minutes in total to have acces to our room. The room was a bit smelly (in close smell) but the room was clean. Very close to all restaurant and down town the location was perfect

The hotel was clean and pleasant - glaring issue was how loud everything was. Very difficult to sleep when you can hear every door being closed and every foot step throughout the building.

Driveway not plowed, hard to get in. Drain is plugged in shower. Other than that clean facility, nice room. Dont forget to pay for parking when you book, as parking is extra!

Good location for short stay.

It was a great stay a bit far 10 mins drive from Old Quebec City, around the stay there is strip where you can find pubs !

My room had black mould in the shower, and the pillows smelled very bad.

In a good location. Over the weekend there was nobody around to help. Had trouble getting parking 1st night..Someone was in my spot. Emergency contact person unable to resolve.

This hotel was centrally located in an area that was convenient to so many things. Dining, historic, museums, shopping, etc. The area is charming. The property is no frills but no worries, there are so many frills around that you will not even worry. Bring good walking shoes and a smile. Note: check with your phone carrier to make sure you will have your desired coverage. We did not and had to rely on local options.

Our room number was changed 3 times in the 2 days before our stay, which was annoying. Room was small but very homey and basically clean. Had a few cobwebs and some mold in bathroom shower corners. The bed was very firm, which we didn't like, but is a personal preference. The location was perfect. Felt very safe, quiet street and only 15 min. walk from all the sites.

Once we got used to the idea of a self check in hotel, we appreciated the quick service offered through SMS. Thank you

Not thrilled. We struggled to find the entrance at 11pm, as no lights were in. Not even a bottle of water do I had to walk to find water. We were pleased with a coffee maker and the area, walkable to great restaurants and a but farther to Vieux Québec. My real complaint is a bathroom sink so slow to drain that we wound up washing our face and brushing teeth in the shower. Pretty gross. I alerted the facility by text, called, and nothing - no response. Won’t be staying there again.
