Check in was easy, the staff was amazing, the garden was lovely and the room very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a spot on! Thank you for a lovely stay

First time visitors to this lovely establishment chosen as it had character and not too far from Longleat where we were heading next day. We had a wonderful stay at this lovely B&B. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome—they were friendly, attentive, and couldn't do enough for us. The room was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The food was excellent, with delicious meals and a great breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. We also really appreciated how dog-friendly the B&B is, loved seeing all the canines in the bar and garden. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. We can't wait to return! ***** 5 stars from us!

An excellent find. All food, including breakfast, was of a very high standard and plentiful. We were there in a middle of a heat wave and room was very hot but there was a fan.provided. The stairs are very steep and may be difficult for those of reduced mobility.

Beautiful old building dated 1642 but tastefully restored inside. Lovely rooms, delicious food. Richard is a great host. Will definitely return when we come back to the area.

A lovely pub in a picturesque setting. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating. Unfortunately we had an early start the day we checked out so had to leave before we could have a cooked breakfast but upon letting staff know the night we checked in they were able to do us up a takeaway breakfast which was very thoughtful. We ate at the pub the afternoon we arrived and had an amazing roast dinner. A very nice place to stay that’s in a nice quiet location. Would stay again if I needed somewhere to stay in the area.

Beautiful room with so many thoughtful extras! Our evening meal was lovely and breakfast was amazing! So much choice and again fabulous food. We went to the Cheese & Grain in Frome to see a band and this was the perfect peaceful location only 10 minutes away. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

Very warm welcome. Special touches like orange juice in the fridge, hot water bottles provided and hand made biscuits left in the room were appreciated. The hair products in the bathroom smelt lovely.

Lovely cosy B&B, clean room with all the amenities you’ll need and more- toiletries, iron, hairdryer, teas, coffee, juice hot chocolate and biscuits! Lovely friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Such good value and location for us to visit Bath.

great overnight stay at the Full Moon. Well decorated and equiped room, lovely shower. Brillant host and breakfast was very tasty and huge! Pity the bar was not open when we arrived (Sunday evening) as I felt that it is probably a really decent pub, I just wished we could have had a pint or two. Good place to stay if you are going to Longleat or exploring Frome.
