Need to clean carpeting in hallway. No showergel in the bathroom

A great service, all services were wonderful.

It's a nice property, good bed and pillows. Cute design. The pool looks beautiful but it wasn't heated so we didn't get to swim. My complaints: No complimentary water, usually you get 2 bottles of water when u stay at a place like this. No ice buckets. No soda machine. No drink service from the bar after 8. We were never able to get our free drinks because the time restrictions. They wouldn't/ couldn't sell us a soda after 8 even though the bar is a part of the check-in area and the same person mans it. That's just ridiculous.

Nice Clean Hotel, Pool is beautiful and heated. The staff were polite enough, the area is typical LA with a few options for food. But disappointed about not having room service, restaurants on site and barely a place for coffee/breakfast. Also, the rooms are paper thin (so you hear everything) and if you’re are on 1st floor you also hear footsteps continuously.

What a beautiful place to stay in the heart of Hollywood! Fine finished, super comfortable, gorgeous decor and friendly staff!! Will stay again!!

I booked this property because it looks fun and cute, and has such a boutique feeling. It photographs very well and the brand is know for its look. When I arrived to the area, it wasn’t what I was expecting. I went to the front desk at 9:00 am the next day (check out is at 11:00am) and asked to check out and they didn’t allow me to checkout. I was disappointed because I had no interest in staying and didn’t feel comfortable. I did end up switching hotels even though they didn’t allow me to check out. I could hear the person snoring, sneezing, and using restroom. There was no privacy. Overall, It wasn’t a great experience.

It’s a cute boutique hotel, I could see how it is trying to keep everything cute and delicate as in Palihotel chain, staff were nice but the stay here wasn’t very pleasant. I didn’t get my room key for the whole time I was staying there because they had some system upgrade or something. It was just so inconvenient and insecure to have to always ask someone else to open the room for you. I was told the upgrade would be finished soon but it was just delayed again and again and turned out they ended up giving me a key that didn’t work at all. Also by the time I checked out and asked for the invoice, they sent it to some random email instead of mine. This was very unfortunate and disappointing.

The staff at the Palihotel was excellent. Javier the manager was very friendly and accommodating. Also, the bartender was fantastic! Very friendly and engaging.

Overall great place with such a cute aesthetic. Loved it!

The pool was closed and we weren’t told by the front desk when we arrived. The doors had a sign saying to keep closed. No coffee in the rooms and there was no barista on a Sunday morning. There was no body wash in the large bottle attached to the wall in the shower. The mini fridge was full so we couldn’t put our own drinks in without having to remove everything else. The bed was comfortable with very soft pillows. Air temperature was good and blackout curtains did the job for a good sleep. It was ok but not a good value.

This is a fun hotel with a lot of charm and it was the perfect location for me since I was attending an event at the Dolby Theater. It has a lovely pool so I was kicking myself for not bringing a swimsuit with me. My only gripes were that my room was not super clean - some dust, hair, and there was a stain on the bed that looked like pee (washed but still visible). No food options so I ordered food to my room (not a huge deal for me) and the A/C unit did not get as icy cold as I would’ve liked. The walls are pretty thin so you can hear conversations of people near you and a lot of noise from above you if you’re not on the top floor. Overall, I’d still recommend it since these were pretty minor inconveniences and it was really cute and I enjoyed the retro decor.

The property doesnt allow you to go get your own car. The West Hollywood location is easy. You go down to the garage and they will open the door. Hollywood location makes you give up the keys and ask for you car. On check out its easy to take the elevator down to the basement to put your bags in your car. Not with Hollywood location. No, you have to lug all your stuff down to them so you can give them the valet ticket. Then they get your car.

This is lovely, smallish hotel located a half block from Hollywood High. Rooms are spacious, as is the area around the very nice pool in the courtyard. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I would’ve wished that the bar stayed open a little later at night and that they served something besides croissants and muffins for breakfast, but that’s a minor issue, since there are good restaurants within walking distance, including a nine minute walk to Mel’s diner. I loved this two-story hotel with lots of character and would definitely stay here again.

We experienced a block drain in our room and had to be moved to another very late at night. The other room was unacceptable because the toilet barely allowed room to sit down with without hitting your knees on the shower wall. Design was very poor with no counter space. We finally had to be moved to another room the next day because of that, so over all for a two night day it was very disruptive and showed lack of maintenance in the hotel. They also closed down the kitchen all winter so there’s nothing but coffee or tea available And it is a walk to get anything. We have family in the area, which is why we were there, but we will find other options for future visits.
