If you are staying in Coyoacan , this is the place!! I do a lotnof traveling and the experience was seemless!! The place is gorgeous, the teamnthat they have make you feel at home and you aren2 blockes from Coyoacan center. Is just perfect!!

Overall this was an amazing property. Location was perfect. Staff was amazing... the gratis breakfast was great. If I had to say one thing negative to say... it would be that the "AC" was severely lacking... I had the property send me a pic of the AC prior to coming. I have a friend from CDMX and recommended I get physical proof that indeed there was AC... the property staff sent a pic of the unit in the room. The only problem was that it didn't cool the room.. we asked the front desk to address the issue... but it never did cool the room. So it was very difficult to sleep at night, and also made us not want to spend much time in there. If the room would have been cold it would have been the perfect place. Not sure if this was an isolated incident... but I'd make sure the AC worked..

What a lovely boutique hotel! Comfortable bedding was a treat after walking around the town all day. Excellent location. Very safe and quiet street. Close to the center. The staff could not have been friendlier! We will be back as there is so much more to do!

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, warm showers, great breakfast, excellent location! Easy to walk everywhere and a lovely garden to rest after a busy day. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was perfect. Peaceful picturesque courtyard, delicious made to order breakfast every morning. Very clean and the whole operation runs like a well-oiled machine. Hope to come again!

Delightful...Miguel looked after us dawn to dusk. The morning breakfast was a treat. Walking distance to most needs. Can be crowded near the square 7 blocks away however.

Casa Moctezuma is like a private oasis in the middle of the noise of Mexico City's oldest and most cultured neighborhood: Coyoacan. The service at the boutique hotel is impeccable and the daily cooked to order breakfasts make going out in the afternoon a breeze. It is two blocks from the eastern edge of the main plaza and has a historic, quaint feel. The area is safe and clean, relative to being a mere 10 minute walk from the Frida Kahlo museum. This was our family's second stay at the hacienda style hotel and we will be back again due to the room, service and location.

Excellent hotel!

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were friendly, and always willing to help. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and quiet and dark for sleeping at night. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was a lovely bonus. Our bed and room was made and tidied every day. The *one* inconsistency was the shower, it was hard to get the temperature just right. The location was perfect for our needs and desires, as we could walk to the market, the centre of Coyoacán, to Casa Azul, the corner stores and restaurants. The deck of casa Moctezuma was perfect for our evening drinks and morning coffee and breakfast. I’d highly recommend staying here and definitely want to go back

The interior of the rooms and the shaded common areas where we had breakfast were so charming. The city of Coyoacán is a treasure and we felt the best area to stay in during our vacation. The massage service through a 3rd party wasn't responsive, so don't expect that - but the food in the town, the walkability, and the culture were all super pleasant. The hotel staff were also really kind and helpful. Overall a beautiful location and hotel to visit the Frida Kahlo house and home base for visiting Mexico city.
