An excellent value in this restored motel. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We spoke with a staff member who was pleasant and helpful. We'll definitely be back when we travel this way again.

Checkin was awful. I prepaid months ago. You can only check-in via text. Was refused. Spent 45 minutes trying to checkin. Customer service said I had to give her my credit card number for $100 deposit before I could checkin. She said I couldn't give that information when I got there because no one was there to take it. When we did finally that straight out room was right inside the front door. Doors were slamming by 4 a.m.

We stopped here for an overnight and were very happy with this renovated retro hotel. The renovations have been done with attention to extra details. The room was very clean and very well-appointed with even having a microwave and refrigerator with a freezer. The bed was super comfortable. And towels were good, not like other value hotels that tend to skimp on the quality of towels. Our only down side was our shower was luke warm. Besides that, our stay was great. And being one block off the main hwy kept traffic and train noise low to non-existent. We would recommend this hotel if stopping in the Mojave area.

Wish there was a spot for Ice. Small rooms, bed was big but for the price the rooms were clean and comfortable. No real amenities, but I knew that beforehand. I would stay again for a night or two.

My stay was fine. But no one works there. That wasn’t mentioned in the hotel write up. I had an issue when I arrived. I tried calling the number they sent but never got ahold of anyone.

Area too deserted. Looked scary and unsafe. Too noisy from some customers at night. Walls not well insulated. However place very clean although small.

would give a zero if possible. What the hell is remote check in. Once i got throught that mess i found a room that was barely larger than the king bed. 2 outlets in the room but dont worry they had an extension cord with mulitple outlets. The shower head almost fell off and squirtted water on the ceiling. The bathroon was so small the toilet paper holder poked me in the ribs when on the pot. Bathroom door refused to shut no matter how hard i tried. The shower was so small it was hard to even turn around. The floor made me feel drunk walking along it. Light poured around the room door it didnt shut properly and i did not feel safe. Now lets mention its less than half a block from a bysy road and the trains never stopped till 1130 and started at 4 am. Nice wake up call whoo whooo. Never again staying in this hell hole.

the first room we got assigned, wc doesn't work. when we got switched to the second room, I noticed additional charges popping up and I'm ready to dispute it. the bath is constructed to meet the code's bare minimum. no insulation between walls, ceiling and floor, nor doors. a sign of "quiet hours" is posted but never enforced and we have to take the matter into our own hands for the peace of mind after 12 am. the room sizes weren't fitting for 2 full beds. the staff had a funny attitude as well. overall, not a pleasant experience, I don't understand how it got such high rating, which is downright deceiving.

The room and general building was fairly clean. The rooms are a bit snug, but the size makes it even more cozier. I did stay in the bottom floor and you can hear everything, which was really bothersome. Also, I just thought it pet friendly and was unaware of the $60 non refundable deposit. Not sure it was worth more than half the stay, esp when my dog is trained and most likely wouldn’t even notice that he was there.

It's a bed, and if that's all you need this is your place. if you don't ask you will get a room without a bathroom and share with your new besties. This is a barebones motel with standard paper thin walls. The price was cheap, so that should sum it up

Not what we expected at all but turned out alright. Upgraded to a room with a bathroom for an extra charge. $60 pet charge is far too extreme but then why not take advantage. Didn't get his name but there was a guy taking out the garbage when we arrived who was very helpful.

Incredibly well decorated place, the effort for that part is remarkable! Unfortunately, the insonorisation in between rooms, mine for sure, and others is terrible. It is incredibly embarrassing as you hear everything and have to assume all around hear you too. I would have watched tv late but couldn’t buoy sensitivity to others. I hate writing this but had to leave very early as people having loud conversations woke me up. I left in frustration! Sound boards do exist and should have been installed. Very disappointed at the end.

Appears to be a rehabilitated rooming house or train crew dormitory. The shared bathroom option was "unique" so if you want your own bathroom you need to make sure and order it specifically. Nice job of upgrading the rooms, but they start as something spartan to begin with and noise between rooms is a problem. Furnishings are okay; the queen bed was plenty comfy. Nice upgrade in my private bathroom. Since it's a block away from the Mojave train yard there is some noise reduction, but you can still hear the Union Pacific throughout the night, especially if you are a light sleeper.
