I was gratefully surprised by the place it is really good although old is really well maintained and cozy. Definitely staying here again.

Our stay was very enjoyable - rooms were clean and beds were comfortable - the view from the hotel was awesome - there was a quaint old world feel to it - very nice!

#35 was our room. The musty smell was terrible, but it was the only room left on the Cabot trail. The room description says it’s a queen size, but it’s actually a double. The room, and surrounding property was very clean, but the place was so dated, I felt like I was back in the 70’s. It was the cheapest place around, so I guess that’s why it’s full.

It was a the nature Lap. The food was excellent. Though property was old but ambience was huge. We like the property

The motel is very well kept. The double room was comfortable, very clean and spacious. We had dinner in the dining room which has a lovely were of the water. The food was well cooked, tasty and very reasonably priced priced.

Friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, lovely home cooked breakfast. A great experience all around.

Beau motels et bien situé pour faire la cabot trail

Right on the TCH. Easy friendly check in. Property clean The carpet in our room was very damp had to wear shoes. Dry the next morning Small bathroom but served the purpose Double befs Breakfast was fast. Delicious. Very friendly staff

Property is lovely outside. Cabins are old so difficult to really clean well. They are in need of some upgrades without a doubt, for example, mini fridge in our room wasn’t working nor was the electrical outlet for tv. It’s convenient for going on the ferry to Nl but don’t expect modern conveniences in all rooms/cabins.

Bien situé pour débuter la Cabot trail et ils nous permettent de laisser notre voiture et remorque dans leur stationnement pour quelques jours …le temps qu’on fasse la Cabot trail en moto !!

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, water in the washroom was hot. A nice, casual stay in an older but well-maintained motel with great access to the view and easy on/off the highway.

Love this place! Great view of Bras d’Ore Lake in a beautiful quaint little town. Food in the restaurant was very good. The motel is older but suits the vibe of the town. Everything was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was great!

The owner of the hotel was very, friendly, helpful and understanding. We were late to check in, until the next morning, due to adverse weather conditions that cause of the original ferry was cancelled. The owner of the hotel was sincerely helping us by saving two rooms for us and allow us to have the late check out. So we can refresh ourselves and have few hours of good sleeping. We really appreciate that.
