Good stay at Lynwood. We were on the top floor at the back of the hotel at the end of the hall which was a bit of a slog with the luggage for us. The hotel is charming with well kept parking lot and landscaping. The onsite restaurant with live music was lovely. We stayed here for 2 nights and would stay again.

This was my favourite stay on our family’s trip to the Maritimes. My husband, one year old and I stayed here and loved our room. It was clean and we had a beautiful view. I loved the balcony. The jet tub was a cherry on top. They provided a very clean playpen for my son to sleep in as well. The best part was the attached restaurant - it was amazing. A great location if you’re doing the Cabot Trail as we were able to do the whole trail in one day and stayed the night prior and following doing it. Also, there is a nice fiddle event every night just across the street. I hope to come back one day! Thank you!

Absolutely, hands down the best hotel we’ve stayed at on our trip to the Maritimes. From the ambiance of the hotel to the amazing food at the restaurant, incredibly clean rooms, laundry facility access for guests. We will be back!

We were only in town for a night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Checking in was a pleasant experience and the staff were personable. It was close to everything and very clean and tidy. The room was nicely decorated with interesting pieces and quiet as well. The bed was comfy, everything worked well. My only criticism and it holds true of all hotels/inns etc is that the room coffee isn’t so great. Would definitely stay again.

An excellent stay in a central location. The bathroom fan didn't work well but otherwise everything was excellent. There are 50kW and 7.5kW Flo EV chargers available within the property parking lot.

The location of the property was great to be able to walk to shops and restaurants. Check in was easy and the front desk staff were very nice.

The room was clean. We had nice views to the water from our room. We enjoyed the in room coffee maker. Although we did not receive housekeeping during our 3 nights, extra towels were supplied. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was good. The bed was alittle on the hard side for me but that’s personal opinion. We had a great stay.

We loved our stay in Baddeck. It is an amazing small town. Some good restaurants, community theatre, a nightly ceilidh. The Lynwood hotel was fine. The beds were comfortable — not fabulous but reasonable. Amazing water pressure in the shower. No real storage in the bathroom though. A vanity instead of a pedestal sink would have been more useful. Everything was clean. A nice little fridge in the room, a one cup coffee maker that overflowed every time using the coffee ‘bags’ provided, and a microwave. The cleaning staff were very nice and helpful. Parking was easy. Right at our door. The wifi was reliable. Not blazing fast like we have in the city, but perfectly adequate for vacation use. The AC unit was noisy and it was uncharacteristically hot. So it woke me up at intervals through the night. There is a restaurant on site. We had dinner there one night. Again it was fine. Not great and we didn’t go back. The Lynwood worked well for me and my daughter. It was a solid 4 star experience. I felt there were details that could be handled better that would elevate the whole experience. Having said that, I would absolutely stay there again, as long as I could be in the ground floor. No elevator.

This is very nicely located walking distance to waterfront , Bell museum etc. Great staff, great restaurant.
