One of the worst hotels with fake reviews (I assume). The hotel was not at all clean and lots of cockroaches found. Hotel staff was not at all helpful. Not Suggest this one.

There was an error with booking and felt like I was being lied to by both staff at the hotel and Expedia.

Easy walk into town and on nice grounds, however didn’t sleep well at all - very thin walls meant hearing our neighbours conversations until 11pm and snoring thereafter. Room was mostly clean but had dirty bathroom towels.

Good and clean hotel although rather pricey.

Hotel parking lots are in very poor condition. Front desk staff were not helpful. Front desk staff did not informed us that they gave us room on the 3rd floor and there’s no elevator when checking in. When entering the room, the alarm was on loudly, AC was turned off when outside temperature was 32 degrees C. When we checked with front desk if we can change room, we were informed the option they could provide was to cancel the reservation, when it was 6:30pm.

Spacious rooms, lots of counter space in bathroom. Property could use some paint.

We stayed in an upgraded room in the top building, it was spacious and well appointed. It’s an excellent location to walk around Baddeck’s Main Street, restaurants & shops, play pool at the Legion, and not far to walk to the waterfront boardwalk and wharf. We did not have a chance to try Gisele’s new lounge and renovated restaurant - but look forward to trying those next time. We have stayed there many many times, and look forward our to future stays.

Lovely property, full of gardens, decks and patios to sit outside and take in the nice views. Room was spacious and classically decorated. It had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is convenient to the shops restaurants and the A.G.Bell museum. We also appreciated the laundry facilities after a week in Cape Bretton National Park.

Property was in a great location and had a really great restaurant. They provided water with lemon available to guests every day.

Staff were friendly and helpful. My fish at the restaurant was wonderful and my husband stated it was one of the best smash burgers hes ever eaten. Wait staff were attentive and friendly. B7ffet breakfast was mediocre. The usual powdered eggs and dried out sausage. Our room Was clean but towels were very dinghy.

This location is great for access to the Cabot Trail. Baddeck is a cute town with some good cafes and shops. Our lodging was motel style, which came as a bit of a surprise. The room was clean although the decor was a little dated. The food in the hotel restaurant exceeded our expectations. The butter chicken curry was excellent!

Was very clean and the staff was accommodating.
